The 2012 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime is a great adaption of the first two arcs of my all time favorite manga series, and is definitely worth giving a watch, especially now that it's been announced that we're getting a new anime adaption of the third arc next year. If you want a currently airing recommendation, Samurai Flamenco! I think that is the best anime of this season by far.

I dunno how to feel about this match, on the one hand it was ridiculously intense and Ippo basically lost but as for story reasons, Ippo couldn't lose. So the way he got back the victory was...pretty weak. I mean they'd planted the seeds for this 'twist' but it still wasn't that well realised, really.

I'm really excited to see Takamura's match next episode though!

Madoka, Gurren Lagann and Eureka Seven are all solid choices. I'm gonna throw Steins;Gate into the mix as well though.

As for currently airing shows, you can't go wrong with either Kill la Kill or Samurai Flamenco.

Does anyone remember the name of the horror (I guess) anime that Adult Swim, or maybe Toonami Midnight Run, played one year for Halloween? I remember it was about a group of kids going to a neighboring town and one was missing his sister. And they had to escape the Takers. Liver-Taker, Heart-Taker, and on and on?
