That's weird - they have the fruit folded up wrong. The "armor plating" is supposed to be on the inside, because the outside needs to look like fruit, like in the show.

Id say they look pretty good for 4" figures. They arent going for complete reinaction like the AC figures, just cheaper alternatives.

Actually, that's the only way it can. The fruit doesn't unfold, it deconstructs and pegs in, so the back of the Banana chest piece has a peg that attaches into what I asume is some kind of inner block.

It's also why Pine's chest is perma-folded.
