Both the W and OOOs stuff didn't really seem to have anything to do with each other, nor did it seem come together in a coherent way. I found the OOOs part was...just plain boring.

But you have to admit, it did have its good moments (the entire W portion, the beginning of the OOO portion, just to name a few).

The Skull portion was the only reason to watch the movie, IMO. More Skull is never a bad thing.

Question, I'm getting the movie now and I was wondering if it matters to have watched W and Fourze before watching the movie. I've seen all of OOO and I just finished episode 20 of W. Only seen the first ep of Fourze to test it out(and enjoyed it). And although I ask this question, I'll probably end up watching the movie anyways and just watch it again once I've seen all of W and what's needed of Fourze so everything makes sense.
Just curious as to how much of the movie would be foreign to me.

I've been keeping up with Fourze, and I watched W all the way through. I've only seen about 8 episodes of OOos before dropping it completely. I didn't find it hard to follow at all

I think it's pretty necessary to have seen OOO, at least a sampling of Fourze, and just a basic knowledge of W if any. It all really just flowed so well that I think it stands well on it's own too but I still think OOO is the glue holding it together so you should really watch that series first.

It wasn't just the whole OOOs coming after W thing, it's just that I found that when OOO slowed down, it became almost unwatchable. Not really caring about the people Eiji was trying to help was another issue

OOO really does pick up once Maki makes his real intentions known.
Also, give characters time to grow on you lol. 8 episodes? I think the only characters that were really introduced (Sans Eiji and Ankh) were Chiyoko and Hina (Cakeboss doesn't count, and I think Gotou was still in his "Watcher" phase). |
