Inside that of their small apartment, invisible to the rest of the world, the Dreamrangers known as Syuri, Keiji, and Paige sat in front of a laptop. Their human companion and guide Aimi sitting behind them on a sofa. On the screen was the image of their technical genius from the Dreaming known as Edogawa. The four being in the middle of a video chat via the special computer they were using.
As they all sat around the computer, they listened as Edogawa explained to them that at the moment, he was attempting to get the three fighters some new weapons for their arsenal. Specifically, something he had helped create and wanted them to use. But as he went on, he stated that he was having trouble getting his superiors to allow these inventions to be sent into the realm of humans. "Why are they holding the process up?" Keiji, known in the group as Dream Blue asked. "Their reasoning is that it may possibly be dangerous to have our technology in the human realm. Plus there is the added problem of transporting it. With the way it would be done, anybody over there could see it." The scientist explained, pushing up his glasses to rub at his eyes. Paige, Dream Pink and the ranger's tech member asked if there was anyway to disguise the objects during their moving of them. Edogawa answered, saying that the higher ups were under the impression that even if they were to make the objects invisible until they could be placed safely and secretly in the human world, it may very well be possible that a member of Jung Moroi's court could spot them if they were in the human realm, and thus have info which would give the queen of nightmares an advantage. "Well damn, isn't that a drag." Dream White A.K.A. Syuri responded, she releasing a sigh of disappointment at the news. "We really could have used some new gear." "Especially considering the wraiths we've been encountering as of late have been getting stronger." Keiji added in, making the three remember how easily they've been getting tossed around as of late. "I'm sorry guys. I'll still try to see if I can get the gear to you, but for now...you're on your own." Aimi, stretched her arms up into the air, she releasing a yawn before speaking some. "I'd hep you if I could guys. But what all could I do?" "True." Syuri throws in. "Especially since we always have to save your pathetic ass." Keiji chimed in. Aimi shot him an expression of annoyance, following it up with a command of him shutting up. The demand raising a scoffing laugh out of him. Edogawa laughed a little himself at the small conversation the human teenager and warrior were having. He started to speak, but the feed started to get a fuzzy snowy effect. In response, the three tilted their heads some in confusion. "Paige, fix the computer." Syuri ordered, she slowly laying down on the floor from her sitting position. Paige made her way over to the back of the computer to inspect the cables. As she looked, she scratched her head, looking puzzled. "Everything's connected from the look of things." Paige reported as she made her way back to where she was sitting. "Maybe it's something on Edogawa's side?" Aimi suggested. Keiji explained that it's doubtful since the connections in the dream realm were rarely ever buggy, only being so under an attack. "Then what could it be?" Aimi asked. As the three watched on as Syuri slowly began to drift into sleep, the screen suddenly jolted to pitch black. After what seemed like minutes, a coloration of purple and green illuminated the screen some. As it did so, a soft laugh could slightly be heard. As the laugh came over the sound system of the laptop, Syuri shot up and pushed her way to be in front of the computer, her comrades to her sides with Aimi behind her. A voice then spoke out in a thin and slow voice. "Hello there followers of Morpheus." The faces of the three warriors in an instant turned to stone cold seriousness, Aimi's showing a bit of fear and confusion as Jung Moroi's form appeared on the screen for them to see. An icy smirk painted across her lips. ----------------------------------------------------------------- In a world in which dreams reign supreme and bring joy to many, a dimension filled with all the world's nightmares look to take over the dream world, and are doing so by attacking civilians within the real world. To combat this, the ruler of this kingdom of dreams to combat the evils of the nightmares. These three will fight for the future of both their kingdom, and of Earth. These warriors are.... Ikiryō Sentai DreamRanger! *Opening theme and video/credits* ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Fifth Dream: Attack of the Amazon Wraith! The Dreamrangers looked on in contempt and seriousness at their enemy, Aimi sitting there scared. "I i i...is that...her?" She eventually squeaked out. "Yep. That would be her royal highness." Syuri answered coldly, she keeping her eyes locked on the image of Jung Moroi that was on the screen. "Why Syuri, how rude of you. Aren't you going introduce me to your little friend?" Jung cooed out in a taunting fashion. "Sure. Aimi, this is Jung Moroi. The bitch who brought us to the human realm." Syuri explained to Aimi. Keiji soon spoke up afterwords, demanding to know what the queen wanted. After scolding him on not asking politely, Moroi spoke up. "I suppose if you must know, I just wanted to have a nice little chat with the three of you." "I see..." Syuri started "Then let's chat." Jung smiled, saying good, good girl at Syuri's accepting of the invitation to talk. Paige then spoke up, asking what the nightmare queen wished to speak about, her voice surprisingly cold and emotionless, a genuine surprise and shock for Aimi. "Well my dear Paige, I wish to talk about the situation between you three, your king, and myself. Not to mention both of our respective realms, as well as the one that your friend inhabits." Jung explained, pointing to Aimi at the part about the human realm. "What about us and our realms?" Keiji questions. "You know, the good old I'm going to murder you three little worms, and take over both of your realms." Syuri scoffed and laughed. When she spoke, she mocked Jung, informing her that her plans were as dumb as ever. She informed her as most heroes do to villains that want total domination. When she was finished, she grinned at the queen, taunting her by calling her a dumb little idiot whose still mad over a trivial occurrence. After she finished, Jung stared at the four of them. And after a minute, she burst out into a manic cackling laugh. It so loud that Aimi clutched at her ears from the pain she felt due to the volume of it, the rangers following suit. Eventually, Moroi stopped and the three removed their hands. "Oh my oh my oh my, how you make me laugh." She slithered out. The four sat there silent now. Watching their rival with all of their attention. *Music Cue* "Let me make this clear you three. I will destroy you all. I will show Morpheus that even his best of fighters can be destroyed. I'm going to prove that all of you are just little weaklings that can easily be destroyed. I am going to serve up a slaughter the likes of which not even the most deranged and sadistic human being could give. As far as your realms go, they're going to be annihilated as well. Your little king likes to say that dreams are the gateway to everything grand and great in the world. That they can make the bad go away. He will be proven wrong. Dreams may give people joy, but I'm going to turn that joy into pain! I will corrupt all that is pure within the human realm! Dreams will die as nightmares take form! And once everybody loses their precious dreams, and get my hellish nightmares, your kingdom will fall in on itself, and Morpheus will die! Oh, and that little occurrence you mention, there's nothing trivial about it. That bastard of a king of your's WILL pay for what he did. And there is not a damn thing that will stop me. Not him, not you, not any stupid little human, not anybody!" The four of them sat in the room in silence. All three of the dream warriors locked on the screen, Paige holding her hand against in an "oh my" type of fashion. Aimi sitting behind them, she shaking in utter fear at this evil creature which swore to destroy everything around her. She was sure she would wet herself in the fear and coldness that had washed over her body, but the shock of it all seemed to have locked down every system in her body. "Well then...seems you have it all planned out there Jung." Keiji responded finally. Paige added in "But you forgot something." "Oh?" Jung began. "What would that be?" "That we've put down every last wraith you've thrown in front of us. We may have gotten bruised and beaten down a little, but we've continually gotten up and will continue to do so. The only slaughter that will happen will be us, destroying every last enemy you throw in front of us." Syuri said confidently. Paige nodded her head in accompany, Keiji smirking a little at his comrades as they put their opponent in her place. Clearly, they had put her in a check. "I suppose you're right. But you forgot one thing as well." "And that is?" Keiji asked tiredly. Jung smirked a little as he asked. Her golden eyes gleaming with delight as she began to speak. "That to make the enemy fall, you must reach them first." The three head's tilted a little, some of them being scratched in a state of puzzlement. What exactly do you mean Paige asked. Jung grinned one last time before the screen went black again. And as it did so, the entire ground began to shake violently. As it did, items began to fall from within the living space. Keiji and the others stood up as the shaking began, and as they heard voices screaming from outside. They then whipped their heads around to a window, watching as a building suddenly exploded in a burst of red and black energy, causing bits of metal, concrete, and glass to fall down to the ground. All four looked at each other before quickly rushing into Aimi's room. They bolted outside, and were met with a grim sight. Houses were crumbling, fires lit the sky, people were shrieking and running in panic and fear, some even laying on the ground, either injured or dead. Soon, more buildings exploded, and other forms of destruction occurred. The four were confused on what was happening. That quickly changed though as they heard a guttural growl and shriek. They slowly turned around. And after doing so, they saw what they meant about having to reach the enemy first. For what they saw, while quite a few blocks away, was quite the enemy. It being that of a giant synthetic android like being combined with that of a crab. The three then looked at each other. Slowly nodding to each other down the line order they stood. Syuri then spoke up, claiming that it's time they go. Before Aimi could even respond, her acquaintances had already vanished, they charging off to fight the creature. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Start of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- End of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- As the anrodic crab rampages around Shinjuku, destroying anything it's claws can grab a hold of, and anything that comes into contact with the beam of energy it shoots out of it's mouth. While it does so, the three heroes from the Dreaming appear on top of a building, staring out at their opponent. "That's one big wraith." Paige notes, looking on as a fierce wind that has been present since the monster's attack blows her hair into her face. Keiji makes a hum like sound, agreeing with her. "So this is what that witch meant about reaching." "I guess so. She must have figured that if we can't reach him due to it's height, we won't be able to beat it." Paige adds on. "I guess she forgot who we are." Syuri chimes in, stepping towards a rail on the side of the building, preventing anybody up there from falling off without offering something to grab onto. Keiji asks if it's time to go, Syuri answering with her usual response of of course, Paige nodding in addition. The three pull out their Dream Cellulars, proceeding to flip them open. They each then press the familiar golden circle that rests above they keypad, causing the keys to start glowing gold. Afterwards, they then punch in their henshin code of "4-18-5-1-13." "DREAMSCAPE!" They shout through the roaring of the wind and monster, pulling their arms back into a cocked position. The screen portion of the phone jets out some, flipping onto it's side to point to the right, an antenna popping out where the screen once set. "OPEN!" They cry out while throwing their arms forward, the phones pointing out to the monster. Time slows down as individually colored beams shoot out of the screens of the phones. The Dream Cellulars disappear in a flash, the beams shooting backwards to slam into their bodies, forming their suits. Time then speeds back up as light explodes around their heads, forming their helmets. Fully suited up, the three Dreamrangers look at each other, nodding in unison. They turn to face their amazon like enemy, flashing away. As the monster firs off a volley of it's red and black energy beams, the Dreamrangers appear in front of where the building that got hit once stood, each one of them brandishing their signature weapons. "Look here crabby pants, I'm not in the mood to fight in an apocalyptic land, so just be a good little nightmare and die quickly." Syuri calls out to the creature, it shrieking violently at her. "I think it's ignoring you Syuri." Keiji says. "Gee, what made you think that?" "Well then..." Paige begins "...I believe we have no choice then." "Yep." Syuri answers, watching as the android monster crushes a skyscraper with it's claws. The three then dash in the air, charging right at the wraith. Syuri then jumps upwards, raising her DreamBlade into the air. As she begins to fall, she swing the sword down, it slamming right into the top of the crab's head. However, her blade bounces right off immediately, seemingly causing no impact. Within her helmet, Syuri's face morphs into one of shock. But it slowly turns to one of pain, as the monster slams one of it's claw hands into her body, sending her flying past her teammates into a building a couple yards away. "SYURI!" Keiji shouts out as he watches his comrade get blown away in one swipe. He then looks at Paige, who seems to be shaking from both the harsh winds, as well as what she just witnessed. But the two slowly turn back towards the opponent, who has gone back to stomping it's feet against the ground, crushing roads, buildings, cars, and from sounds heard, even people. Keiji grips at the DreamTrident roughly, vanishing in a flash of blue light. When he appears again, it's at the stomach of the beast. He brings the trident back some, pointing it right at the belly of the beast. He then unleashes it's tips in a furious barrage against the metal like flesh of the wraith. But just like with Dream White's efforts, the attacks do nothing to cause the android any harm. The creature then raises it's knee up, connecting with the stomach of Dream Blue, causing him to scream in agony. The monster then grabs him with one of it's claws, squeezing him tightly for minutes before throwing him down to the ground, Keiji slamming into a van. This nightmarish monster then slowly turns around to face a business office building after feeling a bit of a poking sensation. On the roof of the building stands Paige, firing away rapidly with her DreamShooter at the monster. Her blasts slam into it's arms, head, and chest, but do no damage. The wraith, agitated by this let's out another shriek, it so loud that Paige slams her hands against her helmet to try and block out the noise. The shout also being loud enough to shatter every window in the area. The beast throws it's head back, and slams it forward to look at the ground, releasing a single wide beam of it's dark energy. The beam rips into the ground, burning into the Earth itself. Paige then turns around, she beginning to run as fast as she can as the beam makes it's way to the office building where she is standing. As it collides with the building, the materials which made it begin to fly up into the air, causing Paige to stumble as the beam continues to make it's way towards her. She unfortunately trips on an uprooted pipe, and screams as she falls off the building's roof, beginning to fall to the ground. As she is about to hit the ground, Aimi catches her out of nowhere, apparently she had been following her friends and heroes. As she catches Dream Pink, she falls to the ground, sliding on the road a little before stopping. When she does, Paige looks over at her. "Aimi! What are you doing here!?" She asks somewhat angered. "I I wanted to come to help in case you needed it." She explains softly. "Well I'm grateful, but you shouldn't be here, it's too dan..." Before Paige can finish her sentence, she hears one of the nightmare's growls, causing her to quickly look up, Aimi following suit. What they see is one of the android crab's feet falling down towards them, the intention being to stomp them out. Paige grabs hold of Aimi, burying her against her body to act as a shield. However the foot is soon detoured, and swings around, crushing a car instead of the two girls. Paige let's go of Aimi, who notices the flashing away of a sphere of white energy, and a beam of red energy. When they move their eyes some, they see Syuri standing in front of them, her suit ripped in several places, some blood trickling out of her side. "This big bastard is starting to really piss me off." She says tiredly. Paige slowly stands up, she still clutching her weapon as she walks to stand next to her commander. "Aimi...leave this place now before you get hurt." Syuri commands Aimi, her voice filled with more cold then usual. Aimi shocked at her tone of voice finds herself unable to move. When Syuri turns her head to look some, she sighs a little before vanishing off with Paige, leaving Aimi still sitting stiff on the road. The two Dreamrangers reappear onto of a skyscraper like building. As they watch the city getting destroyed, Keiji joins them, he bent over some and limping due to his assault. "You still alive Keiji?" Syuri asks her comrade. He answers back with a painful you know it. Syuri scoffs some as he works his way to stand by her. "None of our attacks have seemed to do anything." Paige restates. "It's like that thing was made out of fucking diamonds." Keiji replies, huffing and puffing. "Well then, let's scratch a diamond with a diamond." Syuri suggests. "Are you suggesting that we use the DreamCannon on it?" "It's all we got left to try Paige." "I say we go for it." Keiji chimes in. After a little bit, Paige nods in agreement. Paige then lays the DreamShooter out sideways. Keiji follows up by placing the DreamTrident on the top part of the handle. Syuri flips her weapon around to put it into it's gun blade form, placing it under the handle and DreamTrident. As she takes hold of the handle, Keiji and Paige grab onto her. They stand there waiting. Eventually, the monster turns to look at the skyscraper where they stand. After it does so, Syuri takes in a deep breath. "DreamCannon, blast off!" The three rangers shout, Syuri slamming her hand against the trigger on the handle of the DreamShooter. As it's ball of multi colored energy shoots off, the wraith lets out another shrieking growl, firing off a sphere of red and black energy, it's sphere bigger then the one the rangers shot off. The two energy balls collide, struggling for a little bit as the three watch on. But then, beneath the helmets, their faces turn to pure shock and horror, as the monster's energy wins over their's. This causes the two spheres to combine and fire back at the skyscraper. The light of combined energy fills their eyes as the energy sphere slams into the skyscraper. The building then suddenly implodes collapsing in on itself with the Dreamrangers falling down with it. Aimi, who saw this from a few blocks away cries out her friends' names in terror, and begins to run towards the once skyscraper, the monster moving on away from that block. Within her throne room, Jung Moroi cries out in her maniacal laughter as she watches the scene unfold. "YES! YES! DIE DREAMRANGERS! D I E! DIE!" She shouts out while continuing to cackle. Eventually Aimi reaches the skyscraper, people around it sitting or laying injured, or trying to crawl, limp, or walk away. She runs to the rubble of the skyscraper, and begins picking at it, trying to find her friends. After digging for what seems like hours, and probably is, she falls down in horror. She has found her friends, they laying buried in debris, bloody, broken, and unconscious. Aimi begins to cry as she looks at them. She sits there forever, crying for the discovery she has made. But after a while, she notices Keiji's hand twitching. She crawls over to the three, watching as his hand twitches. Slowly, his eyes begin to twitch as well, trying to open. Aimi smiles a little but continues to cry. The monster continuing to destroy the city, the nightmare queen's laughter continuing to ring out in her realm. ...To be continued

Ikiryō Sentai DreamRanger! *Opening theme and video/credits* ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Sixth Dream: Dream Ruler! Descend! Aimi kicks open the door to the Ranger's apartment, dragging Paige in with her. Keiji, who is a bleeding and bruised mess limps in after her, Syuri laying on his shoulders. Aimi slowly lays Paige down on the couch, Keiji placing Syuri on the floor before falling down onto his rear next to her, he cringing at the pain in his entire body. Aimi rushes back through the door into her room and house, returning a couple of minutes later with a first aid kit. She falls down in between Paige and Keiji, opening the box up quick as can be. After daylight has faded into night, Aimi sits against a wall in the three's mini house, he face covered in dirt, her hands in both dirt and blood. Her three friends either sit or lay down, sleeping, healing. They told her that they may not really be humans. But for three people who may or may not be human, they were certainly wrecked by that giant thing. She had seen them come home beat up, but never like that. As she continued to sit and think about the destruction she had witnessed, the laptop sitting on the small table started to beep repeatedly. Aimi crawled over to it slowly, noticing that an icon had appeared on the screen, indicating a video call. She accepted the call, and was greeted by Dr. Edogawa. "Doctor Edogawa." Aimi says somewhat surprised, bowing out of respect. The doctor returns the action. "Hello Aimi." He replies. Edogawa then looks around through the camera at the apartment, his face turning to shock as he sees the three Dreamrangers all out. "W W What happened?!" Aimi starts to tear up as she begins to explain. She goes through all that happens, from the call from Jung Moroi, to the giant creature attacking, and ending with how it destroyed the three, and how she brought them back here for safety. At the end of her tale, Edogawa removes his glasses to wipe his eyes with his hand, he replacing them afterwords with a sigh. "I see..." Silence hangs between the two for minutes. Aimi eventually speaking up softly. "Is...is there anything we can do to stop that thing?" "There may be..." He begins "...but only if I can get that request passed. If those higher up here in my division approve, I'm fairly certain we could defeat this beast." Aimi's face lightens up a little, a small smile painting it's way against her face. "Really?" She asks eagerly. "Really. I'll try to get it passed as quickly as I can." Dr. Edogawa explains to the human. Aimi nods her head, the smile still etched upon her lips. As she goes to end the call, Edogawa calls out her name. She quickly looks at the screen. He then explains that while he works on getting his request approved, that she does not let the three warriors fight. He can tell how beat up they are, and another fight against the wraith may prove fatal. He then says again to not under any circumstance let the three fight, even if the giant wraith reappears. After a minute of silence, Aimi nods her head in agreement, ending the call. In the castle that stands in the middle of the Nightmare Realm, Jung Moroi sits in her throne room, a grin firmly set in her mouth. After witnessing what her new home made creature has done to the human realm, it filled her with such joy and gitty that she thought that even as a non human, she may actually experience an orgasm. On top of that, she got to witness those meddling Dreamrangers get pummeled to death. She had on her hands a creature that could destroy anything, even Morpheus' most prized heroes. She was ready to take other the human realm, as well as The Dreaming. As she continued to take in her accomplishment, Raison stepped into the throne room. She notices him after a minute or so, she then turning his attention to him. "Oh my dear Raison, did you see what I did to those annoying vermin?" She asks cooly in her usual sensual voice to him. "I did indeed my queen." The deformed yet perfect soldier answers. Raison she says after a moment of silence. Yes he answers. Jung then tells him to let loose her toy again as soon as possible, as she wishes to cripple and destroy Earth as quickly as possible. "As you wish my lady." Raison answers. "Excellent." Moroi replies back, she then making a movement of her hand signalling for him to leave. Raison starts to make his leave, but as he reaches the door, he stops and turns around to face his queen. "My queen." Jung turns around to look at him again. "Yes Raison?" "The...results of that project have arrived." Jung's face then lights up in the darkness of her throne room. "Really?" She asks cooly. "Yes my lady, they have." Raison replies. "That's so...perfect. Send the results up immediately." "As you wish." Raison says before exiting the room, leaving his queen to smile in the dark. As the afternoon sun shines down on the previous day's destruction, Aimi, Syuri, Paige, and Keiji sleep all huddled around each other. The eyes of the Dreamrangers then pop open as the ground begins to tremble. Aimi wakes up slowly after them, the three of them then, while in pain, jump up to their feet. They slowly make their way over to the window to stare out. Through the window, they see that the creature has returned, and is once again causing destruction. As they stare out the window, the three's faces turn to ones of serious anger. Syuri then rips off a bandage from her head. They then walk over to the door to head out, but Aimi slides in front of them to try to block them. "Aimi...move..." Syuri says. "No!" She snaps back in a ton unfamiliar to the three. "Aimi move, we need to..." Keiji begins "No! You are not leaving! I promised Edogawa I wouldn't let you leave!" The three look at each other slowly and back and forth. They then nod, Paige snapping her fingers. With the snap, the three vanish into thin air before Aimi's eyes. Aimi then falls to her knees, shocked and in a small amount of tears over what happened. She then turns her attention towards the laptop, her eyes locked on it as she begins to think. Syuri and gang, already changed, appear on top of a building, watching the monster destroy everything in it's path. "We may lose again." Paige states. "We could even die." Keiji adds in. "It doesn't matter, we have a duty." Syuri finished up. Paige and Keiji nod. The three stand there, staring out at the city and monster. As they watch, flames erupt and people cry out. "Ready?" Syuri asks. "Ready." Keiji and Paige reply. As they go to move out, a beeping sound can be heard within their helmets. They pull back some, figuring out that they're being called. They mentally activate the call, being greeted with Edogawa's voice. "What are you three doing?!" He demands "Fighting a giant monster...duh." Keiji shoots back. "In your condition!?" Edogawa demands again. "Look, we appreciate the concern, but we have to fight. We have a solemn duty to protect this world." Syuri explains to her superior of sorts. A long pause hangs in the air, the shrieking sounds of the wraith filling the ears of everyone in the city. After minutes of silence, a sigh can be heard from Edogawa's end. Finally, he speaks up. "Well...at least..." "At least what?" "...At least use your new mechas." Dr. Edogawa asks. "Mechas?" Syuri questions. "Yes, mechas. The project I've been pushing to get approved was for you three to receive personal mechas to help fight any possibly wraith that was too much for you as you are now now. And after a lot of persuading, the project was approved." "So what you're saying is..." Keiji rambles off. A sigh can be heard. "I'm saying that you three now have the power to defeat anything like that creature. You have a power that is unrivaled by anything Jung Moroi could possibly throw at you. You have Dream Ruler." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Start of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- End of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "Dream Ruler?" Paige questions, she confused by what the good doctor has just said. "Yes, Dream Ruler. That is the name of your mecha." Edogawa states. The three look at each other, shocked that they apparently have a force strong enough to be called ruler, and that will supposedly defeat this creature they face. "Dr. Edogawa, are you sure that this thing will be able to defeat this wraith?" Keiji asks concerned. "Indeed I am. Not only should it be able to defeat the current wraith, but any and all wraiths that should present themselves to you." He explains, trying to be as through as possible. "Wow..." Paige says. "So..." Syuri begins "...how do we get the thing?" "Hmm, perhaps I should explain that." Edogawa says with a bit of a chuckle. "You think?" Syuri shoots back sarcastically. A small sigh can be heard over the microphone. "Just call out the follow. 'DREAM RULER, DESCEND!' Your mechs should come shortly afterwords. After that, you just need to combine them." "Will do." Keiji confirms. The three rangers look at each other before facing their monsterous enemy. They then throw their arms up to the sky, their heads following their hands afterwords. AT once, in unison, they then shout: "DREAM RULER, DESCEND!" The sky then turns a bluish white tint. As this happens, everybody, as well as the wraith looks up to the sky, watching the change occur. After a moment, a rumble can be heard and felt, the sun beginning to shine intensely bright upon the area. A burst of color and golden dust then occurs, and from the sun flies out three mechas that are in the shape of a tank, a stealth fighter, and a trailer truck. They ride through the air, people watching in shock and awe. As they appear, the sky turns back to normal. Syuri, Keiji, and Paige look at each other again. They give each other a nod before vanishing into the air. They then all appear in their respective mechs: Syuri in the fighter, Keiji in the tank, and Paige in the trailer. They ride the sky with their vehicles, shouting out enjoyment as they do so. "This is so cool!" Paige cries out. Keiji, shoots out bursts of fire towards the wraith. The blasts connect, and the creature cries out in a bit of pain, it staggering back a little. "What power this thing has." Keiji comments, grinning within his helmet. Syuri zips all throughout the air, shouting out in a thrill of adrenaline. "I can get use to this." She says, smirking a bit. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, but do you think you can combine now and beat that thing?" Dr. Edogawa asks somewhat impatiently and worriedly. "You ruin my fun so much doc. How do we combine?" Syuri asks. "Call out 'DREAM GATTAI!'" "Roger that." Keiji confirms. "DREAM GATTAI!" The three shout before racing their mechas towards each other. Keiji's Dream Tank then skids and drifts to a stops, the internal breaks kicking in. The tank then flips upwards as the treads pull them self down to connect with the leg kibble. The front part of the tank then flips out to form the feet. The cockpit then moves up a bit, forming the lower torso, it standing in the sky proudly. The Dream Fighter that Syuri pilots continues to fly through the sky, and even in between some buildings. It then bursts upwards into the sky, spinning wildly as it flips it's self down from it's fuselage. It then spirals down, locking into position with the cockpit of the tank, the torso now fully formed. The wings then fold inwards, forming the back piece of the mecha. Paige's trailer then splits itself in two, it shooting out a a bit of contents. The trailer then splits again, two pieces flying off towards the leg portion of the tank. They fly down, and then shoot up, sliding onto the feet and leg portion of the tank up to the thigh, forming the final pieces of the legs. Two big portions of the trailer then shoot sideways, locking into the side of the stealth fighter to form the shoulders. Once it does so, a panel opens up in each part, the arms, and then hands shooting out. Finally, the contents it ejected begins to fall down towards it. As it does so, the Dream Fighter opens up a panel of it's own, the head of the mecha sliding up. The contents then slams down onto the head, completing it and forming a helmet, and thus completing Dream Ruler. The three warriors who now sit in the cockpit of the robo in the middle of the torso fly their giant champion down to the ground, making sure it lands a few feet away from the gigantic wraith, they facing it head on. Dream Ruler's eyes then flash on, they a reddish yellow. "This is so awesome!" Paige shouts out, amazed by what they have done and acquired. "It feels so powerful and full of energy. Doc wasn't kidding when he said this thing was great." Keiji adds in, he still in awe of this being. "Heh." Syuri scoffs out, grinning ear to ear. In the Nightmare Realm, a loud, piercing cry can be heard throughout the realm. The cry belonging to Jung Moroi as she fully takes in what has just appeared, knowing that this thing could fully well defeat her monster. "NO NO NO!" Jung shouts, she slamming her hand upon her throne, the force causing the castle to shake a little bit. In the human world, the three continue to stare down the monster with Dream Ruler. The monster stares back intensely. It then lets out one of it's shrieking howls before it begins shooting off towards the mecha. As it rushes towards it, it raises up one of it's arms, it ready to crush this gigantic robo to pieces. As it gets closer, Syuri smirks again. As it comes within hitting distance, the wraith lets it's arm loose towards the torso of the mecha, looking to cleave it in two. The rangers are faster though, and shoot upwards, the wings folding out to let them fly through the air, and thus dodge the enemy attack. The wraith shoots it's head up to look at the being which it just missed, the glowing eyes of it locked up the nightmarish form. "Uh uh uh, gotta be quicker." Syuri says cooly, toying with her opponent. The monster shrieks again, pointing it's hands upwards towards the robo, red and black light channeling around them. "It's about to fire off some of it's energy!" Keiji calls out "Perfect, let's see how flexible this new toy is." The wraith then fires off a barrage of single shots of it's dark energy. But no shots connect, as Dream Ruler bypasses and dodges every last one through various forms of movement. The nightmare creature, angered by this, shoots off two largely wide and long beams, looking to trap the robot. But they are quick enough to floor it, and Ruler flies up into the sky, letting the beams crash into each other, the fall out causing a few bits of energy to slam into the nearby area. "Can we beat this thing up now?" Keiji asks, ready to fight. "Heh, go for it Keiji." Paige replies. Keiji smiles within his suit, he now flying the mecha back down to the ground, but directly towards the monster. Once close enough, Dream Ruler lets out a single punch, it slamming into the chest of the wraith, the blow so strong it makes the creature fly backwards some. Before it can rest though, Dream Ruler appears right in front of it, it unleashing a barrage of punches, elbows, and kicks, each blow connecting. The wraith takes each blow, but continues to shriek in anger. It then begins to fight back, the two beings now exchanging blows as they rumble their way through Shinjuku, civilians running in fear of being crushed, sparks flying out as Dream Ruler is hit. "Take this, and this, and this you bastard!" Keiji shouts out as he fights with the wraith. The fight rumbles on, and Keiji now goes for a decapitating like kick. But the monster is faster this time, and grabs hold of Dream Ruler, flinging it away. However they eject the wings, and fly right back up to the enemy, delivering a power knee it's it's face, the blow sending the creature into a building, destroying it on impact. The nightmarish beast gets back up and unleashes another wail. It then pulls it's head back, and unleashes one of it's gigantic beams of energy from it's mouth, it large enough to fully hit every part of the robo, even if it flies up a little. As they brace for impact, Dream Ruler's flings fly out around it's body, forming a protective shield. The energy blast slams into it, causing Dream Ruler to slide back little by little. "Dammit, we're gonna die!" Syuri shouts out angrily. "No we aren't!" Keiji shouts back. "Guys, look!" The three look through the cockpit. While the energy beam is pushing them backwards, the shield has not cracked or broken, keeping them protected. As they watch in awe, the monster gets more angry, it trying to intensify it's attack. However, the shield still will not give, and after minutes of it, finally breaks up the beam, causing it to scatter out into the sky. The wings then slide back into the back of the mecha, the rangers cheering as they watch on. The wraith now fearful in shock. "Alright, let's ends this little bastard's attack." Syuri calls out. Dream Ruler then hovers into the air a little, the wings shooting back out. It's hands then retract back into it's arms. Out then comes to golden beams of energy, then crackling with lightning around them. All three dream warriors grin, they ready to end this being's miserable existence. "DREAM RULER, FINAL DREAM RUSH!" They shout out, Dream Ruler then taking off like a bullet. The wraith tries it's best to stop the impending attack, it firing off volley after volley of dark energy. But the Ruler is too nimble and fast to be hit, it avoiding every shot perfectly. Right before impact, the rangers let out a heroic cry, and the creature lets out one last scream. Dream Ruler then crosses it's arms up above it's head some, slamming them down diagonally right as it hits the wraith. The robo slices through the creature in a X pattern, the monster exploding immediately. Rum Ruler then slides to a stop, turning around as the beams are replaced by it's hands. The robot, civilians, and the rangers look where the opponent once stood. What seems almost at unison, all of them let out a cry of relief, joy, and tiredness, happy that the nightmare is over. Inside the cockpit, Syuri, Paige, and Keiji lean back in their sights, each letting out a sigh of relief. "We did it guys." Keiji states. Paige nods her head, she smiling tiredly in her helmet. "Yeah, we did." Syuri exhales. Later, some time after the fight, the rangers sit bandaged up in a park with Aimi. The four watch as the civilians clean up the area, rebuilding the life that was destroyed by the creature. As they watch on, they can't help but smile every so often. "I guess humans do care." Syuri says. "Of course we do." Aimi replies. "I know you care. But I always figured you just all moved off after a city would get wasted." She follows up, looking over at Aimi some. "Maybe at one time humans did. But now, we just rebuild. We have to rebuild. If we don't, we'd have nowhere to live, nowhere to hang out, nowhere to work. We'd have nothing. But rebuilding gives us all of that, as well as hope that this time, everything will be better. Aimi explains to her dream world friend. "That sounded quite beautiful Miss Aimi." Paige replies, she smiling softly. Aimi smiles at her in return. She then looks back over to Syuri. After a while, Syuri smiles a little, scoffing a little. Keiji then smirks a little, shaking his head. "Comeon meatbag," Syuri starts "Let's get you home." "Okay dreambag." Aimi responds with a smirk. The four of them then stand up as the sun begins to set. They chuckle some as they walk off down the park heading home. As they walk though, the spot where they once sat becomes filled with two shadows that fit that of people. ...To be continued

With Dream Ruler on their side, and the monsterous wraith defeated, the Dreamrangers can fight any enemy, and beat them. But as Japan rebuilds, it seems that this may be put to the test.
Next time on Ikiryō Sentai DreamRanger: A wraith is attacking the inhabitants of Osaka. But when the Dreamrangers go to fight and investigate it, they find out that the creature can only be seen in moonlight, at night. With an enemy they only have so many hours to see, how can they stop it, and save the Osakians? Next time, Seventh Dream: Night Terror!

The moon sets high in the sky as per usual. Its’ rays shining down on the ever so peaceful city of Osaka. On this late summer night, many a people are out and about enjoying the evening. Some are out on dates, some are simply deciding to take in the night air, and some simply out just to be out. Truly, this is a beautiful night.
Two people who are definitely taking in this glorious night are Hideshi and Nami. The young couple who have been together for quite the while decided to celebrate one of the final nights of the season. Now after catching a movie and having a nice dinner, they make their way around the city, killing time until they must venture home. As they continue to walk along the city’s sidewalks, Nami rests her head against Hideshi’s shoulder, her eyes glittering as she looks up at him. “Oh Hideshi, this night has been wonderful. The dinner, the movie, and the night itself. It’s just so beautiful.” She says to her lover. “I know. It’s almost as if summer is throwing itself a going away party.” Hideshi replies, chuckling some as he smiles, he looking down into her eyes. “It’s so…perfect.” Nami squeaks out. “You’re perfect.” Hideshi shoots back. The two teenagers then stop in the middle of the crosswalk. They stare at each other for a solid minute before Hideshi leans in. He places his forehead against that of his date’s. The two slowly close their eyes before locking their lips’ together, kissing gently let passionately. After kissing for a couple of minutes, the two pull away, they blushing and giggling some. A few hours have passed since their kiss, and now the two are taking a walk through the business area of the city, they looking to catch a train there. As they walk, the moon shines down on them, it seeming to follow them as they make the journey to the train station. The two youngsters continue to converse on their merry way, stopping every now and then for a kiss. The two also look up every so often, they looking at the stars in the heavens, as well as the lady moon. “Just look at that moon Nami. It’s almost like Mother Nature is watching us.” “Well humans are supposed to be Mother Nature’s children. She’s just probably keeping an eye on us.” Nami theorizes. Hideshi gives off a light chuckle. “Yeah, I guess she is.” “Well she has a very beautiful eye.” “True, but yours’ are even prettier.” Hideshi says. He stops walking, he then bringing his girlfriend into his arms to embrace her. Nami looks up at him lovingly, her eyes sparkling from the words he has just uttered. She smiling widely with happiness. “Oh Hideshi…” “Nami…” The two lean in, looking to kiss again in the throes of young love. However, this is interrupted. Before their lips can meet, the two hear a noise which resembles that of a growl. “What was that?” Hideshi asks. “I don’t know.” Nami replies, she looking around, Hideshi soon joining her. They hear the noise again, it apparently emanating from behind some trash bags. They deducing this from the rays of the moon shining upon the bags. The two walk over to the bags, the growling noise now stopping, it being replaced by a whining noise. “Awww, it must be a lost dog.” Hideshi says. “That’s so sad.” Nami chimes in. Hideshi crouches down in front of the bags, Nami standing behind him. He then reaches out with his hands, he taking hold of the trash bags. Before he has the chance to pull them away, Nami lets out a bloodcurdling scream. Hideshi turns his head. The next moment, the two teenagers are gone. The moon continues to shine up in the sky, it’s rays shining down on where the two once stood, the shadow of a mysterious figure painted across the wall of a building. *Opening theme and video/credits* ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Seventh Dream: Night Terror “Man, Osaka is so great looking.” Paige says to her friends and comrades as they walk around the city. The Dreamrangers Syuri, Keiji, and Paige have come to Osaka on business, not pleasure. Via the news, they have discovered that many people have been vanishing at night in Osaka. While many are considering this to be the work of a criminal, the three know that it has to be one of Jung Moroi’s wraiths, as no one man could make so many people disappear. “Yes Paige, it’s very good looking, but can you shut your yap about it? We’re here to investigate, not play tourist.” Syuri answers back to her fellow ranger, she releasing a sigh afterwards. Keiji, the other Dreamranger remaining silent as the group passes by Osakian after Osakian. “I’m sorry. But you know I never came to Osaka before, and how I get when we visit new places.” Paige explains. “She has a point Syuri, you should have known better.” Keiji says, brushing his hair back, his face painted with a smirk. “Don’t you start either Keiji. Let’s just try to find this wraith and get out.” “Are we even sure it’s a wraith? I mean I know it seems unlikely that a human could do all that the news has reported, but who knows, man has done many a strange thing before.” Keiji speculates. “Keiji has a point Syuri. These are the same people that created nuclear weapons. And not to make you two mad, considering you’re Japanese, but these are the people who did really horrible things to the Chinese in World War 2.” Syuri stops, taking in a deep breath. Her comrades stop slightly behind her, waiting for her response. Syuri does eventually turning around, she ready to address the two fighters of Morpehus. She looks at them with her usual neutral facial expression that for this moment, houses some bits of annoyedness, and even uncertainty. “Look, I know that humans can do many great and odd things. That is why Lord Morpheus pays so much attention to them as opposed to other species. And yes Paige, I know me and Keiji’s people have done really shitty things in the past. But I am telling you, it has to be a wraith. No human can make this many people just up and vanish, whether he or she be working with a partner. So regardless of what each of us theorize, let’s just shut up and try to figure this thing out. Can you do that?” Paige releases a sigh as Keiji scoffs some. “Yes mam.” The two say, almost in unison. The three, now split up, roam all over Osaka to try and find the answer to this mystery. They ask person after person trying to get answers, but don’t seem to break any ground. They only getting people’s speculations about who did it, and how they did it. The three meet up every now and then as the day goes on, but quickly split back up. While they do roam all over Osaka, the three do seem to find specific areas to ask around. Keiji sets up his camp in the Kyōbashi area. He asks anybody who passes by. From children and teenagers, to businessmen and women, to even older citizens. No matter whom he asks though, he always seems to get the same response. Either people with crazy theories, to people who heard about the incidents, but aren’t really sure what to make of it all. Truly it seems that Keiji can’t catch a break, and ends up taking a break, he hiding out in the Osaka Jo Hal. Paige unlike Keiji, doesn’t really stick to one area. She never being in Osaka before, she takes this as an opportunity to do a little exploring. When she isn’t hitting up any of the famous Osaka hot spots that she asks about, she does try to gather any info possible. However, being American isn’t really doing her any good. She knows Japanese, and knows it fairly well, but some people still don’t quite understand her. The few that try to speak to her in English aren’t much help, as they don’t really know much. Getting tired of not getting any leads, Paige decides to just fully explore the city. Syuri tries with all of her might to get as much as she can, but has the same luck as her comrades. However, she does have some payoff, as she runs into one of the friends of some missing teenagers, who vanished while they were out on a date. The friend gives her some info about the two, including some of their favorite places to go. Syuri checks these places out, but they offer virtually next t nothing on possible info that would point towards either a human causing the disappearances, or as she strongly suspects, a wraith. After the cover of night has fallen over the city, the three meet up at a dock. They stand in a semi circle, they reporting back what all they discovered. “Hate to break it to you guys, but I didn’t really get anything. I asked almost everybody I saw, but nobody really seems to know what happened.” Keiji explains, keeping his arms crossed as he does so. “Unfortunately, I had the same luck as Keiji.” Paige states. “What about you Syuri?” “Well, I ended up meeting an acquaintance of some missing kids, and he gave me a list of some of their favorite places to hang out. But those led to nothing. And like the two of you, nobody I asked knows anything. If they say anything, it’s just crazy theories.” Keiji nods some before looking at both of his fellow warriors. “Any of you two talk to Edogawa to see if he could help?” “I did, but he couldn’t find anything either.” Syuri replies. The three standing there, sighing every so often, they trying to figure out what to do next. Out of the blue, they hear a woman scream. At the sound of this, the three bolt from where they were to try and find the screaming female. When the three get to where the noise came from, they come face to face with a wraith, it in the form of a jackal. “I knew it had to be a wraith.” Syuri says, smirking over at her comrades.” “I guess we owe you one.” Keiji answers back. “Yeah, but shut up and catch the damn thing!” Before the rangers can do anything, the wraith bursts off towards a warehouse section. The three race to its’ position, they transforming into their Dreamranger states as they do so. Once there, it seems that the monster has vanished. They look around, but don’t seem to find anything. “Where could it have gone?” Paige questions? Right as it appears that Keiji or Syuri is about to reply, the three are suddenly attacked by a slash of energy, it causing their suits to spark, and sends them back a few feet, it even knocking them down. The three slowly get up, they feeling the after effects of the attack they just took. “What the hell was that!?” Keiji asks angrily. “How the hell should I know?” Syuri responds. Before they can discuss it even more, they become victim to another attack. However, this attack doesn’t stop, as the slashes from this invisible foe continue to assault them. Finally, they stop coming, but are replaced with a burst of dark energy, sending the Dreamrangers flying into a nearby warehouse. The impact of crashing into the building and of the abuse they just took so great in power that it forces them to de morph. After minutes of laying in the rubble of the wall they crashed through, they slowly, and painfully get up. Staying close together, they make their way outside to where they once stood. They look around, but see nothing, not even a trace of where the wraith could have gone. Syuri looks up at the moon, and curses at it, blood dripping down her clenched fist. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Start of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- End of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The Dreamrangers, beaten and bruised, sit in a small shack in the countryside of the area. They sit almost in a circle, silent, thinking over the events which just took place. After hours of silence, a voice soon speaks up. “Whatever that thing was…it certainly had the advantage. And if I had to guess, will still have it.” Syuri rambles aloud. “I just don’t get it. How could we see it before it ran off, but then we couldn’t? I know wraiths have different powers, but we’ve never seen one like this.” Paige adds on, brushing hair behind her ear. “Maybe it can turn itself invisible, or can change its coloring like a chameleon.” Keiji ponders. “Well regardless of what it can do, it certainly showed off how dangerous it is. We need to figure out a way to defeat it, and fast.” Syuri says. The three return to silence, thinking over the fight, and how to stop this wraith. They walk around the shack every so often, trying to get their brain power working. Minutes pass throughout the day as they ponder what to do next. As the sun begins to set, the three let out a collective sigh. “I can’t think of anything.” Keiji throws out there to his comrades, he lying on the ground tired. “Me either.” Syuri and Paige respond in unison. “I hate to say it, but maybe we should pack it up.” Keiji says in a depressing manner. “Sadly, I agree.” Syuri replies. As the two of them stand up, stretching their limbs out before leaving the shack, Paige thinks back to the fight again, analyzing everything that happened. As she goes over the bout, she remembers that when they found it in the alleyway, there was a lot of light coming off of the moon. She proceeds to remember that when they went to engage the nightmare in the warehouse section, it vanished. She also remembers that it was very dark there. She sits there thinking over this over and over. Finally, her eyes widen in realization. She jumps out of her seat. “I GOT IT!” “Got what?” Keiji asks tiredly. “I know why we couldn’t see the wraith.” “Well don’t just keep it to yourself. Out with it.” Syuri commands. “If what I’m thinking is true, then the wraith can only be seen in moonlight. If it isn’t in moonlight, it becomes invisible. It makes sense. We saw it when it was in an area directly under moonlight, yet couldn’t when the area was pitch black!” Paige explains to her fellow heroes. “You know what, that actually sounds like a good reason for why we couldn’t see it.” Keiji tells Syuri, looking over at her. “Hmm. It’s the only thing we can go off of.” Syuri states, sighing softly. “It’s almost dark, let’s head out.” Hours pass and night falls. Osaka becomes deathly quiet, a chill hanging in the air. The stars and mine shine above the city. A lone woman is walking around. Suddenly, she is jumped by the newish nightmare wraith. She screams in terror as it pounce son her, swiping at her body. The rangers are ready though. The woman deteriorates into mist, and the three warriors surround the beast already transformed. “Don’t you just love making anything appear?” Keiji asks his enemy sarcasticly. “I know I do.” Syuri replies, smirking beneath her helmet. The wraith goes to jump away, but the rangers block its path, sticking close to it so that it can’t get pass them. It then looks up to the sky. It jumps upwards, heading towards a roof top. However, before it can land on the roof, Paige appears above it. She waves politely, she brandishing her Dream Shooter. “Hello. Goodbye.” She says warmly. Paige then fires off a volley of shots at the creature, forcing it to move away. Before it can escape any farther and fade into the night, Keiji appears at its side He scoffs at it some before slamming his leg down onto its head, sending it flying down to the ground. As the monster lands on the ground, it grumbles incoherently. It slowly stands up, looking to escape. However Syuri is quick like a cat. She appears behind the wraith, piercing through its belly with her blade. She leans in, whispering into what she assume is its ear. “Nighty night fucker.” She pulls down on its trigger, sending a blast of energy right threw the beats. The energy, so close in range and so powerful it causes the creature to explode immediately. The other two rangers land on the ground next to Syuri. They look down at where the beast once stood. “Well, that was easy.” Keiji says in a victorious fashion. Syuri holds up a hand, signaling for Keiji to stop. After a couple of minutes pass, they hear a deep growl behind them. The three turn around, looking up to see the wraith now giant in size. It roars at them before stomping off, crushing buildings, and anything in its path. “I should have known…” Keiji comments. “Apparently you never watched enough television as a kid Keiji.” Syuri replies, laughing some. “Shall we summon Dream Ruler?” Paige questions, her voice hinting that she already knows the answer. “What do you think?” Syuri shoots back. “DREAM RULER, DESCEND!” The three shout in unison. The creature continues to rampage around Osaka, destroying anything it sees. The monster soon however flies back into a nearby hillside. As it gets up, the Dreamranger’s mecha Dream Ruler lands in front of it. The three sit in the cockpit, starring down the foe. They all smirk in their helmets before charging at the monster. The two giants collide, trading punches and kicks back and forth. Each one gains an advantage, only to lose it after a minute later. The robo picks up the monster, holding it over its head as it cries out in anger. The rangers then toss the wraith into a nearby river, the impact causing the water to spurt up onto the land like a tidal wave. “Shall we?” Syuri asks her teammates. “Why of course.” Paige responds. The team flies then fly their weapon of destruction up into the air, making sure it is hovering in front of the moon, causing it to become black, yet glowing. Its hands retract into its body, two golden beams of energy shooting out. As the wraith looks up to the sky, the warriors call out for the end. “DREAM RULER, FINAL DREAM RUSH!” Dream Ruler then shoots out of the sky like a bullet, crossing its arms into an X position. The monster roars at it as loud as it can, hoping that this battle cry will intimidate its opponent enough that it stops the attack. However it’s cries are in vain, as Dream Ruler slashes through the beats in one go. As Dream Ruler slides to a stop behind the monster in the river, the nightmare explodes, it dying upon impact. It’s still night, everything calm and peaceful in Osaka, with only the country side being destroyed or damaged. A small amount of people are walking around the business area of the city, Syuri, Keiji, and Paige walking among them. Their job is done, the wraith being dead now allowing them to return home to Nakano, as well as to Aimi. The three converse, even laughing some as they pass by a large skyscraper. As they pass, two figures, dressed in armor and suits stand atop of the building. They stand directly in front of the moon, its rays causing the two beings to shine almost. The moonlight also reveals their forms more, showing off two people dressed similar to the Dreamrangers, their suits colored black, white, and red. They look down at the departing rangers, scoffing some. The two then vanish into thin air. ...To be continued

Jung Moroi walks around her throne room, shadows following her every move. As she walks, she ponders every move she’s made in her war against the Dream Kingdom. She also thinks about how the warriors of Morpheus, the Dreamrangers have stopped everything she has done to try and plunge the world into an everlasting nightmare. Truly they are a bigger pest then she could have ever thought.
Jung’s loyal servant Raison steps up to her, his arms crossed behind his back in a regal fashion. The evil queen walks past him several times before stopping to face him. “Raison, these pesky rangers are proving to be way too much of a pest thing they should be. They’re like a cockroach. They simply won’t die.” “I know my lady. But fear not, we have the advantage now.” Jung’s lips curl into a smirk filled with glee, and even pleasure. “That is true. We hold the power now, and I’m not afraid to use it.” “Our creationists have put together the monster as you requested. It was finished several hours ago, and is ready for the field.” Raison explains to the queen that he serves so well. “Good.” Jung walks over to a window, looking out over her realm. The realm which while she did not create, she has brought into it’s full glory, caring for it almost like one tends to a plant. She runs her fingers along the wall as she looks over her kingdom. “I assume they are ready as well?” She asks suddenly. “Why of course.” Raison answers almost immediately. Jung then looks over at her knight, her palm open, shadows spiraling around it in the shape of a sphere. She smiles widely, her eyes glistening like a cat. “Then let the fun begin.” ----------------------------------------------------------------- In a world in which dreams reign supreme and bring joy to many, a dimension filled with all the world's nightmares look to take over the dream world, and are doing so by attacking civilians within the real world. To combat this, the ruler of this kingdom of dreams to combat the evils of the nightmares. These three will fight for the future of both their kingdom, and of Earth. These warriors are.... Ikiryō Sentai DreamRanger! *Opening theme and video/credits* ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Eighth Dream: Twin Destruction! The three defenders of the Dream Realm and impromptu defenders of the Earth sit on a bench in a mall. Their faces painted with the feeling of being bored and tired. As they sit there, they watch Aimi hopping store to store, shopping to her heart’s content. In her bored state, Paige leans into Keiji some. Keiji who was nearly asleep, awakes from this, his jump like reaction causing Paige to fall off the bench. Keiji quickly turns around, and realizes what happened. He smiles some, helping Paige onto the bench some. Syuri simply sits there, a hand placed against her cheek, she seemingly spaced out from the world. After hours have passed, Aimi skips over to the three, her hands filled with shopping bags. “Don’t you guys just love the mall? You can find almost anything you could ever want here!” She finishes her sentence; it filled with peppiness and glee. When she looks down at her companions, her facial expression turns to one of slight rage, as all but Keiji is asleep, they using him as a human pillow. “Guys!” She shouts down at them Paige and Syuri slowly wake up from their nap. They rub at their eyes before noticing Aimi standing in front of them. “Oh, hey.” Paige mumbles out in her still tired state. “Guys, you didn’t have to sit here while I shopped. You could have walked around…or come shopping with me!” “Aimi, why would we want to possibly walk around this place for hours on end while you shop?” Syuri asks, confused by why Aimi is taking such pride in this outing. “You don’t just walk around. You could shop!” The three look up at her, blinking some. Aimi looks down at them, she realizing that while the three could have possibly been humans once, that they come from a different world, where shopping isn’t needed. “Oh yeah, I forgot. You guys have magical powers which let you get or make anything you want.” “Bingo.” Keiji shoots back. Aimi sighs some. “Well, I’m done. Would you please carry some of these?” She waves her hands around, indicating that she needs assistance with her bags. “I guess it wouldn’t kill us.” Keiji says, he standing up slowly. Before he can take the bags though, the three’s cellular’s go off. They snap out of their daze immediately, Paige whipping hers’ out quicker than the others. Keiji and Syuri rush over to her to listen in on the conversation, causing AImi to drop the bags she was about to hand Keiji. “Yes chief? I see. Alright. Alright. Yes, yes, yes. Okay.” Paige then hangs up the Dream Cellular. “Another one?” Syuri questions unenergeticly. “Mhm.” “Sorry Aimi, guess you’re on your own.” Keiji tells her as the three run off, leaving her to pick up her mess. “Freaking wraiths…” She mumbles to herself. The three rangers arrive at a rock quarry. When they get there, they discover two wraiths, each look identical to the other. The wraiths have the form of a jackal. They snarl at the warriors, they jumping around like fleas, they ready to strike first. “Two of them?” Keiji asks in shock. “It appears so. And they don’t look like they want to wait.” Paige responds. Syuri’s Dream Cellular flies out of her pocket and into her hand in a flash of movement. “Then let’s not keep them waiting.” The other two bring out their respective phones. They all flip open in unison, with each ranger punching in the henshin code. They bring their arms back at once, ready to transform and fight. “DREAMSCAPE!” They shout as one, throwing their arms forward as to point the transformation devices at their enemies. “OPEN!” The area turns pitch black, the ranger’s glowing. Three, individually colored tubes appear in front of them. The tubes slam into the rangers, forming their suits. Then, in an explosion of golden light, their helmets appear, causing the area to return to normal. Paige, who is now in her pink suit spins around some throwing one arm out to the side in a sideways fashion, she holding the other up in the air. "Protecting dreams like the angels of lore. Paige Williams, Dream Pink!" "Fighting like with the spirit of a mighty warrior. Keiji Ito, Dream Blue!" Keiji cries out spinning his arms around, he stopping and standing in a martial arts like pose. Syuri then brings her feet together to stand sideways, she pointing an arm out towards the enemy. "Serving the light to defeat the darkness. Syuri Miyamoto, Dream White!" The three then spin themselves around like a top, only stopping when they are directly look at the two nightmares. "Providing a shield from all nightmares to let dreams flourish. Ikiryō Sentai DreamRanger!" The five then charges at each other. Before they collide though, the jackals split to the sides, causing the rangers to run past them. Before they can get a lock on the enemy positions, the two appear in a blur, slashing the three away a few feet, they landing on the ground. The rangers get up, watching the two jackals running around like maniacs. “Paige, you and me will take on one. Keiji, you get the other.” Syuri commands. The two nod in understanding. Keiji then rushes off towards one of the creatures, spearing it down a rocky hill. As it’s brother looks at the event, Syuri and Paige come at it from the sides, connecting with twin kicks to the head, making the monster stagger back some. The monster rushes them however, delivering multiple punches to the two, eventually sending them back with a whip of it’s tail. The two roll to a stop, slowly getting up from the pain they received. They look at each other, and nod at once. Syuri dashes forward, sliding to a stop until she was on all fours. As the monsters looks on, puzzled, Paige runs up to Syuri, and uses her as a springboard, launching herself into the air. She lands on the monster in a kick form, sending it flying down the hill. Keiji continues to duke it out with the Jackal’s twin, they trading blows continuously. The monster has some advantage though, it using it’s speed to land more strikes against Keiji, leaving him clutching at his side some in pain. The beast then throws itself against the blue ranger, it biting into his shoulder. Keiji cries out in pain, he trying to force the monster off. The monster then flips away, it then charging at Keiji again. He’s in the know now though, and smirks underneath his helmet. Once the monster is close enough to him, he uppercuts it straight into the air. He then vanishes, reappearing besides the wraith, slamming his elbow into his side. The impact of the blow causes the nightmare to fly away in a spiral pattern, it landing next to it’s brother. As the two monsters stand up, the Dreamrangers reunite, standing a couple of feet away from them. “They may be fast, but they sure are stupid.” Paige speaks up, laughing afterwards. “Indeed. Let’s put these miserable beings out of their existence.” Keiji says. “Gladly.” The three then summon their signature weapons. With them in hand, the monsters shriek on in wonderment and rage, they starting to make their way towards the group. After a couple of moments, forming their ultimate weapon; the DreamCannon. They aim it right at their opponents, they currently rushing towards them. “DREAMCANNON, BLAST OFF!” The heroes shout in unison. Before the three can pull the trigger, lighting slams down against the ground all over the quarry. The monsters confused stop, running off. Before the three can register the event, they are repeatedly struck by black flashes, they being slashed at with blades, as well as punched and kick. The frequency of hits causing them to drop their weapon, they screaming out as they are hit. The attacks stop, the rangers standing there, their suits sparking, they blackened by the blows. However before they can do anything, a wave of black and red energy entwined with lightning slams into the three, causing an explosion. The force of the blow and explosion sends the three high into the air, they flailing about as the scream in agony. They slam against the ground, their bodies twisting and contorting in agony. The force of the impact so powerful that it forces them to change back into their regular forms, their bodies blackened, each ranger’s face bleeding, as well as their hands. Their clothes torn to shreds some, revealing even more damage. They look ahead, trying to see through the smoke, they determined to see who did this. Keiji and Paige don’t last though, and pass out shortly. Syuri stays conscious long after to see the smoke clear. As it clears, and she takes in the image in front of her, her eyes widen in horror. Before her stand two men, suited in armor similar to their own, but darker in color, and with more armament. Syuri tries to speak, but her body gives out, she slipping into uncounciousness. As she does so, the men vanish in a burst of black light. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Start of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- End of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Syuri’s eyes slowly open. Her vision, while blurry, returns to her and after a couple of minutes, she can see clearly again. She tries to sit up, but her body becomes victim to a great surge of pain, it emanating from her stomach. Aimi rushes over to her, hearing Syuri cry out some. “Syuri! Just sit still.” She tells to her wounded friend. “Wha what happened?” Syuri asks her voice soft and filled with pain. “I guess whatever wraith you fought did a real number on you. Thank God Edogawa called me. He detected you guys were unconsciousness and out of power I guess. He called me with your locations. I borrowed my dad’s car and brought you guys home.” Aimi explains. Syuri smirks some. “Heh, good old Edogawa.” “Syuri, what type of wraith did this? I’ve seen you guys get hurt, but never this badly.” Syuri sits there in silence against the couch. She looks in front of her, noticing Keiji and Paige lying on the ground. They appear to be sleeping. Syuri then sighs some, she looking down at the ground. “It wasn’t a wraith. The wraiths we fought were fiersome, but they couldn’t and didn’t do this.” “Then who did it?” “I don’t know who they are. But I remember after the attack ended, I saw two men. They were dressed in more armored suits like our own.” “There are more rangers?” Aimi asks, shocked by Syuri’s statement. “It appears so.” Aimi looks down at Syuri, for once seeing pain on her face, and what she believes to be despair. She frowns before walking away from her. She picks up her purse and heads to the door. “I’m going out to get you guys some more medicine. Stay here.” Syuri looks over at Aimi, giving her a small nod. Aimi returns the nod, she proceeding to then exit the rangers’ apartment. Hours pass on end, each of the rangers waking up from sleep every now and then, only to fall back into it’s clutches moments later. As they sleep, each one dreams about the attack that put them into this condition. However, only Syuri thinks about the two armor clad men, she clutching her fists in her sleep from the anger she feels. She clutches them so hard that her hands begin to bleed. More hours pass. The three slowly awaken, hearing the familiar sound of their Dream Cellulars going off. Syuri notices that the devices are on their kitchen counter. Through the pain, she manages to stand up, slowly walking into the kitchen and to the counter. She picks her cellular up, placing it against her ear. “S syuri here.” “Syuri! God you sound terrible!” Edogawa’s voice rings through the phone. “Put a s sock in it. What is it?” “Those wraiths you were fighting against earlier have returned. However…” “Out with it doc.” Syuri shouts into the cellular. “They split up, and one of them has Aimi.” Syuri’s eyes widen as she hears this, she nearly dropping her phone. Edogawa tells her all of the information that he feels she needs for this, including where the two monsters are. He hangs up after wishing them luck and to not push themselves too hard. Syuri slips the device into a pocket in her skirt, she not going for her jacket, only heading to the door. “What is it Syuri?” Keiji asks worried. “Those twin nightmares have appeared. One of them has Aimi.” “O o oh my!” Paige proclaims in a worried tone. “Yeah. You two, go take care of the one near the electrical plant. I’ll get Aimi.” “Syuri..” Keiji starts. “Don’t you dare question me. Just go out and take care of it Keiji.” Syuri commands, shouting it out at her two fighters. She then vanishes in the blink of an eye, leaving the pink and blue warrior stunned. In the rock quarry, the jackal wraith snorts and cowls, it racing around Aimi, she trapped in the creature’s continual running around of her. If she tries to escape, she’ll die. As she stands there, slowly sinking down to her knees, tears stream down her face. She is saved though, as the wraith flies back some. Aimi looks over, seeing Syuri in her ranger suit, she clutching her Dream Blade in it’s gun form tightly. She mouths her name, but Syuri shoots her a gaze through her helmet, it strong enough to keep the teenager silent. The monster looks at the white clad fighter, growling loudly, it soon running towards her at break neck speed. Syuri smiles some, she rushing at the beast in response. Up town at the electrical plant, the wraith’s twin is putting up a strong fight against Keiji and Paige. It smacks and throws them around like rag dolls, with the rangers only getting in a few hits. The two then get thrown into a power box, sending an electrical current through their body. They cry out in pain, their suits sparking some from the power overload. They fall onto the ground, looking at the monster as it cackals, preparing to strike. “K Keiji…what are we gonna do?” Paige asks her teammate hoarsely. “Well, I have an idea..” “What is it?” Keiji slowly stands up, he then summoning forth his Dream Trident. “Paige, I want you to charge at that thing and let it get a good hold of you. When you see me above you, use whatever strength you have left and get away unless you want to get destroyed.” Keiji explains tiredly, he clutching at his shoulder. Paige remains silent, her response being to stand up. She then cries out loudly, she proceeding to run straight at the beast, Keiji then running to a nearby wall. Paige slams into the monster, she allowing it to clutch on to her. It then starts biting away at her neck and shoulder, she sitting through the pain, though she does cry out. After minutes of this, she looks up some, she noticing that Keiji is high up above them. “NOW!” He shouts down, gaining the monster’s attention. Paige screams as loud as she can, she using as much of her strength as she can to knee the monster in it’s stomach. This loosens it’s hold on her, allowing her to run away. It looks back up at Keiji, who has moved to where he has let go of his weapon, and is above it. He brings a leg back, before he slams his foot down on the trident, it sending it spiraling down like a tornado. The trident as it spins becomes wrapped in a cyclone of blue energy. It eventually slams straight through the wraith, causing it to explode on impact as Keiji lands on his next clumsily next to Paige. Paige clutches onto his left shoulder, the two watching the fire caused by the explosion. At the quarry, Syuri and her wraith go back and forth violently. Syuri landing in some slashes with her blade, the wraith landing hits with it’s claws and tail, it even managing to bite her every so often. The two then strike each other so hard that the send each other flying back, Syuri landing near Aimi. “SYURI!” She cries out. Syuri slowly gets to her feet, she then switching the Dream Blade into it’s gun mode. “I’ve about had it today of getting knocked onto my ass. So I think it’s time I send this bastard right down to Hell, where it, and its bloody queen belong!” Syuri shouts out towards herself, the jackal, and Aimi. Aimi looking on in disbelief. The jackal then howls before rushing towards the two women. Finally it gets right up in front of Syuri, it raising a clawed hand, it looking to decapitate her. But in a flash of movement, Syuri kicks the beast to the side some. She then lets out a battle cry before flipping backwards repeatedly, releasing a relentless barrage of blasts from her gun into the monster. As she lands on the ground a good bit away from it, she pulls down on the trigger hard, releasing a single beam of white and gold energy. The beam cuts through the wraith, it cleaving it in two, it exploding afterwards. Aimi watching, eyes wide, crying in confusion, sadness, and joy. Syuri then slowly makes her way over to Aimi, helping her up. “Syuri..” “Don’t. It’s become a second job to save your butt. No need to thank me.” “But to do what you did while injured.” Aimi explains. “I’ve fought in worst shape.” Syuri shoots back, laughing afterwards. Keiji and Paige, still in uniform run over to the two girls. “Is everything good here?” Paige asks, looking at the dirtied Aimi, and the battle damaged Syuri. “Of course. And what about your pest?” “It’s joining it’s brother in the afterlife.” Keiji responds. “Good.” The four chuckle some, but their laughter comes to a short end. Black, red, and even white lightning strike all around the group, they quickly putting AImi to the ground for protection. This lightning continues for minutes, eventually stopping. Once stopped, the three come face to back with the two suited men. Syuri remains quiet, Keiji, Paige, and Aimi looking at the two in disbelief. As they stand and watch, the two turn around, staring the rangers dead on. They then remove from their backs their weapons. Red holding to hook blades, they misshaped giving off a very medieval yet cyberpunkish look. The one clad in white holding two sickle like short swords, they fashioned the same as Red’s swords. The three rangers slowly walk forward, summoning their weapons. The two men then smirk behind their helmets, they then charging forward at the Dream Kingdom’s fighters. ...To be continued

The rangers slam into each other, they grinding their feet into the ground as their weapons collide. The red one stares down Syuri, the white one chuckling some as he blocks both Keiji and Paige. After minutes of standing each other down, the five burst off in an explosion of lightning and color. Aimi stays down on the ground, watching in shock at the sight she has just seen. “T there’s…more…rangers?” ----------------------------------------------------------------- In a world in which dreams reign supreme and bring joy to many, a dimension filled with all the world's nightmares look to take over the dream world, and are doing so by attacking civilians within the real world. Ikiryō Sentai DreamRanger! *Opening theme and video/credits* ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ninth Dream: Nightmare Duel! The five reappear yards away from where Aimi was, Keiji and Paige running while striking off against the new white ranger. The three stop running after a bit, Paige going for a quick volley of shots at the opponents’ feet. He is too quick though, he leaping backwards into the air only to move himself down in a spiral, he landing behind the two Dreamrangers, their suits sparking from being slashed at by the white rangers’ sickle swords. Far off from them, Syuri and the mysterious red ranger stand off, staring each other down from behind their helmets. Slowly Syuri raises her sword up, she gripping onto it with both hands as she holds it off to the side of her body near her head. The red enemy then crouches back some, raising his hook blades to be position across his body out from him with one being held above his head. After a brief strong wind blows a rock past the two of them, they rush towards each other. They collide quickly before moving away from each other, only to bring their respected blades against each other again and again. The red warrior repeatedly blocks with one of the hook blades, he slashing at Syuri with the other. Syuri manages to consistently vanish away before being struck, reappearing either to the side of him, or behind him. He always mangers to predict her strikes though, he blocking every one that she throws at him. Syuri finally lets out a growl of anger as he blocks a strike she had aimed at his neck, he responding with a slight laugh. As Keiji goes to thrust his Dream Trident into the chest of the white ranger, the man jumps up quickly, he landing directly on the blade part of the weapon, his arms crossed mockingly. As Keiji cries out “You bastard!” at him, he simply throws his head back in mocking manner. He then jumps forwards, he falling right behind Keiji. The white devil holds his arms out with his weapons held underhandedly, the blades tearing into Keiji like paper. The pain of the strike sends Keiji to his knees, he screaming from the feeling the attack left in his back. As he looks down at the blue warrior, he tilts his head to the side some. He then quickly steps to the side, avoiding a large energy blast from Paige. She stands there in shock at the quickness of the man’s movements. Paige cries out “H how can he move so fast? He dodged my attack like it was nothing!" Before she has time to even think, she notices that the ranger is now crouched down; his arms stretched outwards, his hands free of weapons. Right as she registers what has happened, the man’s weapons slash into her body, they returning to their master like boomerangs. She looks down at her abdomen area, he suit splitting apart there as sparks fly out. She does not cry out in pain, only falling down to the ground, struggling to get back up to her feet. Dream White flies across the ground like a barrel, she quick to jump to her feet as the red opponent comes down on her, she block both of his blades with her own. She smirks beneath her helmet as she quickly switches the Dream Blade into its gun mode. Syuri manages to kick the man away, she following it up by rapid bursts of fire. This red ranger though like his partner is too fast, he swiping every blow away with his weapons. The man then vanishes from sight as Syuri stands up. When he appears again, Syuri’s body arches forward, his knee jammed up into her gut. He jumps back afterwards, he slamming the hook part of the blade against her neck until it’s wrapped around her. The man lets out a warrior’s roar as he throws his arm to the side, he throwing Syuri into her two comrades who had just stood up again. Syuri slams into them like a freighter truck, all three crumbling to the ground. The friends writhe in pain, their suits torn and burnt from the blows dealt by the enemy. As they look up, they watch as the two rangers walk towards them, slowly and methodically. They soon reach the Dreamrangers, they staring down at them, listening to their moans of pain. The two then move back some, raising their weapons and position their bodies to perform a final strike against the group. Both warriors crying out as they throw themselves forward, the Dreamrangers quickly clutching onto one another. The blow never comes though. Paige looks past Keiji and Syuri, she seeing the two warriors walking away from the group. She points this out to her comrades, all three Dreamrangers watching their latest opponents walking away from them. Slowly through struggle, Syuri stands up, clutching at her body. She staggers forward some, she shouting out to her attackers. “Hey you bastards! Aren’t you going to finish us off!? Are you scared!?” The two men stop after Syuri finishes going off on them. They stand for minutes, the tension getting thicker within the area. Soon without facing the three, the one clad in red speaks up. “No.” “Why not!?” Keiji shouts at them. With a little chuckling, the white one speaks up. “That wouldn’t due.” “W what do you mean?” Paige asks of the two men. “There is no need for us to kill you on our first battle. It would ruin the fun of slowly torturing you with our power. We’ll kill you when we feel that you’ve been broken.” The white one replies, his voice cold, it unwavering in its tone. The three Dreamrangers stand there in shock from the words of the enemy. They each repeat the words back in their heads, registering what they said. The enemy does not care about getting the job done quickly. They wish to play a game. A game of pain. The two start to walk away again, but are once again stopped by Syuri’s voice. “Who…who are you!” After a moment, the voice of the red cladded one appears, he answering Syuri’s question. “Shingai Gundan Nightmareranger.” After the answering, the two men vanish in a burst of black light and red and white lightning, they leaving a crater where they once stood. The rangers stand there, unable to move or speak in shock. Aimi soon finds them, they unmorphed and staring at the crater. She stands behind them, her face turning to express worry as she sees how they are standing and shaking. “Guys?” She speaks out. The three do not reply, they speechless still. As they stand there Syuri looks at the crater fiercely, her eyes wide and bulging. The others soon notice this, Paige covering her mouth in shock. For once in their history together, Aimi, Keiji, and Paige see fear on Syuri’s face and in her eyes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Start of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- End of commercial break ----------------------------------------------------------------------- “Shingai Gundan Nightmarerangers?” Edogawa asks the three warriors. “Yes, that is what they called themselves.” Paige answers back. Keiji, Paige, and Syuri sit in front of their laptop, Aimi sitting behind them on the couch. As they sit there and converse with Edogawa, he becomes witness to the power these new Nightmarerangers have as the three are bruised and wrapped in bandages quite well. “Did they say anything else about themselves? Such as where they came from, who they are and who they work for?” Keiji releases a faint sigh before answering the doctor. “No they did not. Though we can obviously assume that with a name like Nightmareranger, they’re working for Jung Moroi.” “That would make sense. But how would she know how to make the changing devices if they use any? We were developing them while she was still a part of the Dreaming, but she never was in the area of where we were. It’s plausible she made her own system to do so but I’m not really sure.” Edogawa rambles off. As the five sit there, Aimi keeps her head bowed as does Syuri. Aimi doing so out of seeing her friends in the condition they are, especially after she let them go off and fight for her sake. Syuri hangs her head in shame, the shame of having fear visible on her face. Edogawa picks up on this, he speaking out to her every so often, he receiving no reply each time. “Doctor Edogawa, what should we do if they…if they return?” Paige asks of him. Edogawa sighs again as he rubs first his forehead and then his eyes. “I’m not really sure to be honest. Best I could say is that if they show up just confront them.” “Heh, aren’t you suppose to tell us not to fight them unless they attack the city?” Keiji replies mockingly. “I would, but who knows what they’ll do. If what you said is true, then they’ll continue to attack you guys until they deem you “worthy” of death. They may do anything to make you afraid or bring you out into the open. Just keep your guard up and be ready.” Keiji laughs some, Paige joining in a bit. The group says their farewells and ends the call. Upon doing so, Syuri rises to her feet, raising her head up to stare out of the window of their apartment. Aimi and the others stare at her as she does so, Aimi noticing that Syuri is clutching her fists hard enough to cause blood to drip between her fingers. After a minute Syuri speaks up, her voice cold and serious. “Whenever those two show up…I am going to make sure they pay. They think they have me afraid of them just because they can toss us around. No. They don’t know what fear is. I will make them afraid. I will make them fear death…I will make them fear me!” “Excellent. Excellent!” Jung Moroi proclaims as she looks down at her two champions, they kneeling unchanged, their shapes shrouded in shadows. “We are happy we pleased you Lord Moroi.” The taller shape speaks. “We will continue to make you happy with our progress.” The shorter one states. “Oh I am sure you will my pretty ones. For with you two on my side I finally have a way to put those cockroaches known as the Dreamrangers in their place. Morpheus thought he had the upper hand with his little protectors of that kingdom of his. Oh no dear Morpheous. For it is I who has the advantage, I who has the ability to make dreams crumble. With you two boys on my side there is no enemy I can’t crush and no human being I can’t plague with a nightmare!” Jung goes off as she walks around her throne room. “M’lady, what shall we do now?” Raison asks of his queen, he standing behind the two dark rangers. Jung continues to pace around her domain in glee, her face painted like the happy harlequin mask. She trots over to a candle, she placing her hand above it, letting the flame rise up and touch her skin. “Send them back down tomorrow. But…put them in with the animals.” She coos, grinning madly. “As you wish.” The next day, the four sit in the apartment’s living room, they trying to relax after the eventful day they had before. As they sit, each one ponders the events the previous day had. The rangers revisit them the most, taking in frame by frame their fight with the new rangers under Jung’s control. How she got them they did not know. Who they are they do not know. All they knew was that they now had a new enemy that could easily run through them. If they were going to continue saving the human realm, they needed to get stronger to beat these evil warriors. If they didn’t, they were doomed to fall. At around 2:45 in the afternoon, the four jerk their heads violently to the window, they seeing a blast of fire erupt from somewhere in the city. Syuri and crew jump to their feet, vanishing almost immediately. As they do so, they leave Aimi pre speaking, she simply sighing and sitting back down, accepting that they have to go out and fight. The group arrives in an area of homes, people screaming and running about amid the chaos. The three push through the people, urging them to safety as well as trying to find whatever caused this. While wiggling through the citizens, more explosions occur causing houses to blow into pieces. The suburban area which was once prosperous has now become a warzone, the sight and sounds of this bringing Paige to tears. Eventually they arrive at the center of chaos, any sorrow their eyes had immediately turning to pure anger. Standing in the middle of a road with people running for dear life and screaming bloody murder stands the Nightmarerangers. They soon pick up on the arrival of their counterparts, they slowly turning to face them. “Welcome to the party Dreamrangers.” “I hope you find the venue acceptable.” “You bastards! How could you attack these innocent people!” Keiji shouts at the two, he pushing past Paige and Syuri to be closer to the evil ones. “How you ask? Simple. It would be too boring to simply track you down and throw a glove at your feet. No no no dear rangers. You see we are the hunters, you are our prey. Any good hunter knows to let the prey come to you. So we did what was needed to bring you to us.” Nightmare Red explains, he resting his two blades against his shoulders’. Syuri pushes past Keiji, she clutching her Dream Cellular. Keiji and Paige notice this, they drawing their changers out as well. “I am going to make you shit heads pay.” She proclaims as she initializes her morphing sequence, Paige and Keiji taking suit. “It looks like they want to play with us after all.” “Indeed it does.” “DREAMSCAPE! OPEN!” With the words spoken, the three change into their suits, weapons already brandished. They then disappear in a flash, reappearing seconds later in front of the Nightmarerangers, their attack blocked. White laughs as he clamps his hands down against Paige’s Dream Shooter and Keiji’s Dream Trident. Red blocks with both his swords as Syuri leans in to try and force her attack through. Nightmare Red does the same to defend. The two then slam their helmets against each other, releasing a fierce battle cry. ...To be continued
