Thing is, I don't consider lanky proportions and lazy transformations "vintage." It's only "vintage" if it's a vintage toy. That kind of stuff on a modern day mech is called "bad design."

None of this really strikes me as having a "vintage" look. Simplistic, sure, but that doesn't really entail vintage to me.

I agree, vintage is an inaccurate word. "Retro" works for the suits but not the mecha.
