The facts are hilarious, especially when they're wrong. I had to correct a Godzilla fan over how the films aren't one chronological series.

Oh I can't tell you how many times some dumbass has come up to me and tried to say that the Japanese should stop knocking off Power Rangers

When I explain that the Japanese stuff came first and that WE import the stuff over and it gets re-edited for an American audience they just have this dumbfounded look on their face. Like you just killed their childhood, and their grandma.

The dirty looks i get when it's found out i still like Power Rangers , when the same people have willingly gone to see The Avengers or Iron Man or Dark Knight. I fail to why it's considered cool to like one live action Superhero but considered childish to like another.

Yeah it's lower budget but we are essentially watching the same thing....Good guy/s fight Bad Guy in epic battle of good vs evil....

Yeah, it makes me hesitate about buying a toy due to the outrageous S&H costs I have to pay.

The perception of being childish and immature because Tokusatsu here is seen as a children's show/entertainment than it is out east.
