Watching Ninja Storm today, and then Super Samurai right after.. I can't believe I'm saying this. But the acting was better in Ninja Storm. And that hurts cause I don't like Ninja Storm. But damn.

Even Wild Force beats out Samurai/Super Samurai in terms of the actors delivering their lines in a believable way. It's improved from what it was, but that's not saying much considering it's still pretty low on the totem pole (if not the lowest). The only character I feel can actually act in the entire show is Antonio ... and it's because he's a freakin' pop-star. The rest? Ugh. I shudder. |

... I hate nicktoons. Rewatching Ninja Storm... and now I like Ninja Storm, wtf. But least that now makes Operation Overdrive the worst MMPR season I've ever watched, and that makes sense. If you get passed the overdone comic relief, Ninja Storm isn't... horrible. And I do love Blake and Hunter. And the Battlizer this season.

Meh. The story is still far more enjoyable than Ninja Storm. Ninja Storm was just painful to watch. I think the rest of the team has gotten better with his inclusion (sans Emily), but yes I completely agree.

I thought in Ninja Storm the character Cam went through a good transformation. From nerdy guy who wants to be part of the team, to getting the most powerful abilities of the team and getting too cocky/confident, to realizing his place with the team and really shining. Though his direction was pushed to match that of the Sentai footage.
