Speaking of Gangnam Style, I got an impression that a lot of Westerners who don't understand Korean thought they were cool and hip by listening to a song sung in a foreign language.

And here I am loving foreign language music since Värttinä let Arthur sample one of their songs back in the 90's.

The first anime I watched was about 2 kids and a robot preforming "Blue Skidoos" into a talking Bible that I put on when I was at my Grandmother's house and I didn't even understand what anime really was until about 2007 at the most.

But the people I'm talking about are the one that have not and would never watch anime or even care about it to at least realize what anime is but just think they're special because they have a Korean guy singing about the lifestyle of an upscale district in Seoul playing on infinite loop.

My brother, for example, really liked the song when it fist became popular enough to play on the radio and he doesn't give a flying feather about Summer Wars.
