At least not an Advanced numbers game. EV training helps make the stats best for combat allowing for more blood-spillage. A knight trained from birth or a serf training for revolution: who wins?
Though now that we have Super Training, I don't know how to EV train for Gen 6. ![]() I'm gonna need new EV training guide videos. But I do agree, IVs are pointlessly complicated and a 9-year-old could never figure them out. EVs maybe, but not IVs! I'm gonna work on getting Altaïr set up. Any move suggestions? A Pokemon can have a maximum of 510 EVs Any given stat can have 252 (255 in past gens, Super Training caps at 252 now, though). EVs are calculated by dividing the total number of EVs in any given stat by 4 (So, when training a Pokemon, always make sure the invested EVs are divisible by 4) And that's all you really need to know. The rest comes down to how you want to handle it. Even though the max is 510, 508 is the closest number that's divisible by 4, so maxing out a Pokemon's EVs will always yield 2 points that do nothing. And who is Altair again? I'm thinking Altaria, but I could be wrong ![]() Quote:

You're gonna need something soft in the area just so you don't break something.

Altaria. The names are similar enough anyway so why not?

EV training is super easy.
