Odd though it may have been. I loved Handles
![]() I immediately demand a 6" "Old" 11th with Handles accessory

The Handles thing was one of my favorite parts, plus arriving at the Dalek's cruiser with an eye stalk, then hitting the Cyberman vessel with Handles...made me smile. I also like how this Doctor got to die from old age (if you can't do anything right, do it yourself), so now three have lived their full life spans (First, War Doctor and him). I just turned off my brain for part of it and just had fun.
Oh and if Amy was popular because of wanting to bone...umm...Clara should be higher...just saying... Also Capalidi..."New Kidneys! I don't like the color!" If that was improve...and look up his scenes from a movie called The Loop (not around kids, harsh language). If he brings that energy oh lord can NOT WAIT for next season! |

It's a Moffat production. Blame the endless parade of "I fancy the Doctor" on that. That's is easily the thing I hate about his time as show runner. He's just ... so damn backwards when it comes to "silly women" falling all over his "super badass male protagonist". Can't even keep it out of Sherlock for goodness sake!

I thought Handles was disturbing. Given the Doctor's hatred for the Cybermen, the fact he carried around a Cyberman head and used it for information seemed really off to me. I know he says some handwave thing like 'lol no person attached nomores!' but that didn't really make it cool with me.
Plus the new Cybermen are so damn robotic I'd be surprised anyone new to the show believes there are still people inside of them. Quote:

Eh, the show was doing it with RTD too so I don't know if the blame fully lies with Moffat. Sure he hasn't helped things, but I think the "everyone fancies the Doctor" thing is just some weird result of what the writers think the casual audience want to see. Radio Times readers voted Rose the number one companion for a reason...
Handles was amazing, I definitely felt a Castaway nod there. I don't think "hate" is the right word, the only race the Doctor truly hates is the Daleks. Sure he doesn't particularly like the Cybermen and has to stop them each time they meet, but at least with them there's hope they'll come full circle with their evolution and become people again. Plus the new Cybermen are so damn robotic I'd be surprised anyone new to the show believes there are still people inside of them. Good luck with that ![]() But I figure what with the "Other"/8th figure we're getting in 6" scale that we could possibly maybe have Old 11 with Handles. But probably not, ever ![]()

I was able to find a stream for Time of The Doctor and I absolutely loved it! That one part where you see the eleventh walking with the explosions going on in the background and those three Silents walking behind him looked awesome and terrifying at the same time.

Thinking about it, regeneration figures still seem to be a more certain thing for the 5" line so a regeneration Capaldi will probably happen. If CO are feeling generous that could easily come with alternate 11/old 11/older 11 heads, but I think that many heads would rule out it coming with Handles
![]() I know Character Options has more or less abandoned the 5" line but John Hurt gave me hope.

I'd love a Wooden Cyberman figure, but minus the Daleks, I've always found the Doctor Who figures utter rubbish and even more abysmal now they are squashed down.

The 5" are by no means perfect. But they were far far better than the garbage they put out in the smaller scale now.

I don't know what it is that makes them not sell. Season 6 had a god awful selection of figures that shelf warmed hard, and the classic releases are so limited, expensive and (in some cases) obscure that its only appealing to a VERY niche market. The new scale seems to be doing well, so I guess that's what's here to stay until someone else takes the license ![]() A wooden Cyberman is an inevitability, but it's undoubtedly be a repaint of the previously released 3.75" Cyberman. Which to its credit is probably the best new scale figure released so far. Quote:

On a side note, I've been having some fun with my new McGann figure ![]() ![]() ![]()
