Ginga's finally up for pre-order for Makai Kadou and just in time for Zero's new miniseries! Man, and I haven't even started on the first two horses yet. I wonder how long it'll take for Dan's horse to show up. http://p-bandai.jp/tamashiiwebshoute...em-1000087048/

Just got in to Garo - marathoned season 1 this weekend and I need some action figure representation on my shelves. Can anyone give me a rundown on what's available? I've tried a few searches, but quickly found myself getting lines mixed up/confused and/or not being able to find the answers to certain questions like scale/selection etc. Ideally, I'd like something like figuarts or even SIC that has a decent selection including the horses. Do the Makai Kado figures fit that bill?

Pretty much the only GARO toyline that doesn't suck are the SHFs, but there are like three SHFs - two of which are two versions of the GARO armour - and they are expensive and hard to find.

that really is disapointing that their is no good Garo toyline. I love the armor and would love it if their was a good line of screen accurate Garo figures.

I will probably try and keep my eye out on Yahoo Auctions for the Garo SH figuarts since I've gotten a few figures their for cheaper than even mandrake. Then I can pose them with the limited edition Kouga and Rei Pullips I hope to get my hands on someday.

Okay, here's an odd one for ya all! I ended up purchasing a Figuarts Garo Taiga (daddy Garo with a big sword), as I figured the sword would be worth the extra $10 or so. While the sword IS rad, I find myself wishing I had gone for the original Figuarts Garo instead, for the more vibrant color scheme. What would you folks suggest as the easiest, cheapest way of replacing the one I have with the one I want? Sell Taiga on e-bay or something, then use the money to purchase Garo proper? Never used e-bay to sell before, so I'm a little nervous of that. Suggestions?

So received Ginga this morning and have a word of warning: use extra care when trying to place the new swords in Zero's hands. The original swords were metal and could handle the lack of pliability of the plastic hands, but the new lighter plastic blades will snap in half if you are not careful. Luckily mine only broke where the blade meets the handle so a dab of super glue and you can't even tell it was broken now. But yeah, that kinda sucks that it happened. So, again, extra caution when equipping zero with the new swords.

Other than that, Ginga makes a pretty awesome display piece. |
