Don't get me wrong, I like Gingaman. But I wouldn't say they look like everyday normal people unless the put on outfits that don't look quite so obvious.

Weren't the core 3 Gekiranger dressed in rather obvious outfits? Or the Go-Ongers?
Hell, even the Magirangers? Who looked like they were dressed in school uniforms from a Shoujo Anime version of Harry Potter?

Though I guess the Gingaman look the most "different" with their outfits stolen from "Liberace Presents: 'Dances With Wolves' On Ice."
I still have no clue what to describe their clothes as.

Well, maybe it's just me, but I don't think the TimeRangers, the DekaRangers, the MagiRangers, the Go-Ongers, the Gokaigers or the Go-Busters (to name only whose coming to mind) were looking like regular, everyday people...

I think for most of those you mentioned, their clothes could possibly pass off as plausible in the real world. A bit strange and colorful but not aesthetically alien, per se. Gingaman, I can't imagine anyone walking down Tokyo wearing that.
