With the cape, just keep pushing the pieces into the back until you hear a click/pop. At that point, it's locked in.

What the above guy said, you have to push the cape in pretty hard to get it to lock.

Also, I have had few balance issues with the cape, it's not that heavy, and the joints on mine are nice and tight so he can balance pretty easily. :/

I only have balance issues if I don't use the stand, which is equally annoying to get onto him. I pretty much got him into the pose I wanted, and forever he will stay in that pose.

I'll try to get the cape to lock in, but I pushed pretty hard until it felt like I hit the wall.

Anyway:

Blue Spader: I'm happy to have Blade's bike, but it wasn't worth $45 because it comes with absolutely NOTHING!!! Not even additional cards or even a stand piece that could be used to display the bike on a stage in the air.

Yea the cape is pretty light, almost too light even, I fear the tips may crack off over time if they bump into something. I can see why Tamashii designed them this way though, the PVC cape for the regular Figuarts Knight is a lot heavier and prone to looseness.
