I do mess with IVs and stuff.

I don't mess with the IVs... I let wonder trade Pokemon take care of that. The EVs though are another story.

It should still be super effective. Thick Fat just means it'll take less damage.

I was able to let go of a 4 IV Kangaskhan I had and traded it to someone and got a 5 IV Timid Protean Froakie from them and had the person name him Ezio.

Trained him up already and is set for a battle (Tomorrow or Friday).
