That could work.
Ya know, since the plate sounds are independent and all, it would actually be possible to program unique sounds into a custom plate, not that I would know the first place to start regarding that...

They aren't really, the back of each plate has a specific "cut" that presses down buttons to pick the sound.

Gaim/Zangetsu: No cut pushes down anything
Baron/Gridon: Pushes down bottom button
Ryugen: Pushes down top button
Bravo/Bujin Gaim: Pushes both down

Oh yeah, I thought the sound came out of the plate for some reason.
