Speaking of OOOs, do any of the movies take place during the series? I might as well make sure I have everything for OOOs for when I finally start watching the series.

The OOO Wonderful movie takes place during the series, but it's canonicity is strenuous at best.

my problem with OOOs movies...they had mentioned a fourth Greed, Gills...but that got dropped...is that when they switched writers?

It's Maki's Greed form (The monster running around was a Dinosaur, after all).

Huh, that kinda makes sense, except I think when I watched the movie, Maki wasn't a Greed yet. Or maybe he was, and I just forgot.

The first OOO movie was pretty clearly written very early in the show's development and by a writer who did not work on the actual show itself who just had some basic notes about the plot and characters. Ignore everything it says about anything.

Finally watched ZO and pretty much loved it. I would have loved it more if it had gotten a full 90-minute runtime, just to pace it out a bit better and flesh out the world and characters. Still, I really did love it. I want toys of all the designs now. Including that demented grasshopper puppet that kinda looked like it was humping Masaru's shoulder at one point.
