Someone on 2ch has posted some info regarding this earlier this morning. Allegedly the rider uses collectible Rings for powers, however his belt is a fingerprint scanner. He uses fire and ice elements, wears a cape, battles monsters in a different dimension. The document features mentioned the boom in Magical Girl stuff from the last year (aka Madoka)

He better wear a goddamn wizard's hat and use a staff.

I'm sad that my first reaction to this being confirmed is to think back to the obnoxious little alien kid from the Phantom Menace tie-in Pepsi commercials from 1999.

"Kamen Riding is WIZARD!!"

God, I effing hated that ad campaign.

Takes place at a Japanese Hogwarts, bring back large "contract" monsters like dragons & ogres & crap. I forsee this series doing quite well

To me it just sounds weird saying kamen rider wizard. I kind of wish they would have come up with a more creative name, but oh well.

So, if the series bombs the default negative comment regarding Kamen Rider will move from "Its all Decade's fault" to "a Wizard did it."

I think we're at the point, though, where Riders with English names outnumber the ones with letters or Japanese names.
