Oh hey look for one arc comic relief cop was important, I can't wait for this to go nowhere and never be mentioned again. Fuck me this arc is terrible, I spent the whole episode looking at my watch, waiting for it to end. The twists were dumb, the drama flat, the action unexciting.

And even the 'important' stuff like Wakana in the library...I just don't really care. I still don't really know what the Gaia library is, or how it works, it's been a plot device through the entire show, nothing more. I hate it when Rider shows decide to make something important right before the last stop.

Honestly, one of the only things I don't like about W is pace. Okay maybe not...pace, I'm not sure that is the right word. I dunno, it's the way the show attempts to create a memorable cliffhanger at the end of nearly EVERY episode. This is a brilliant device for those watching it as it aired, I bet, like Gaim, the discussion each week was insane for this show as it often leaves you with so much to stew on. But the problem is, when you can sit down and watch whole arcs in one sitting, the constant cliffhangers seriously funks up the flow of the storytelling something special.

About the only thing I enjoyed episodewise was how they've implemented Trial into the show. This new form isn't used exclusively for fighting and I really love that. Honestly all in all Accel was a really wonderful Rider, I'm kinda saddened that he never really became a part of the shows core and has always just sorta existed on the fringe. Ryu could have easily carried his own Rider show.

BTW, the Gaia Library is literally Earth's library, where all Gaia Memories are spawned from. (well, Museum manufactures the physical memories, but the actual power comes from that green matrix well) I could explain it, but I really shouldn't. Needless to say, the Gaia Library does hinge on an important plot development, so there's a reason it's not been totally explained.

Faiz at around episode 33 on youtbe and dailymotion, goes back to the original TV subs from TV-N. The video quality is shit along with the subs being too literal and since torrent is too fucking complicated for me, Downloading is my best option to finish Faiz in a good format.

Hmm looks like everyone checking out Faiz , while I'm just get started on W (still watching Hibiki too).

Anyway, I watched W 1-3. First episode had a pretty cool opening and I was sort of confused by it, but they got to slowly explaining everything that was going on pretty quick. So Shotaro's whole thing is that he's not as 'hard-boiled' a detective as he thinks he is? That should be fun.

Philip seems interesting but other than a couple meaningless guesses as to his background, I've got nothing much to say about him yet.

I really like the double suit. It looks like it's kinda got a mix of Showa and Heisei styles with how simple it is until you get to it's gimmicks. Speaking of the gimmicks, I really wanna know how they come up with these things. Both in show and out. Though, I guess for the former, I'll get some info.

Don't quite have a favorite form yet, but the original is pretty neat itself. Black and Green is a main character color you don't see often....or at all, really.

I'll admit, I wasn't too keen on going back to watching a show with the old neo-heisei two parter style, but it definitely works here due to the whole detective show format. I mean I love, Den-O, but it got tedious in Den-O. If later episodes keep the same kinda, flow I would definitely not have a problem.

Like I said, I like the detective show style. With the the old Boss's daughter being the new boss and Shotaro and Philip beign the two private investigators. The first two episodes even had the classic twist where the old childhood friend/femme fatal turns out out be a villain the whole time. The, uh...T-Rex dopant looked completely hilarious though.

Speaking of Dopants...I really wanna to know more how they work. The name makes sense since they 'dope' themselves using the Gaia Memories, but...the abilities is where it gets weird. Like Cyclone, Fire, and T-Rex, I can understand. Those are elemental and animal powers. Joker...I dunno exactly, but it looks cool. And from episode 3, there's a MONEY dopant?! Amazing as that is, how the hell do you get infused with Money based powers. ...Well, I mean I guess OOOs does, but...hmm.

Anyway, show looks pretty promising! Gonna watch 4 through whatever number I stop on soon.
