Ben Wheatley is directing the first two episodes of series 8.

I've read somewhere else that he might have meant that's when his completed (FX, music, etc) episodes would be finalized, not necessarily when they would start airing. I don't know, personally, it sounds like someone trying not to get their hopes up.

Well, fair enough, but I'm thinking that's his personal dead line, not the release date.

I think his deadline will have to be earlier than July. He starts filming the adaptation of High Rise in June. That isn't to say he couldn't squeeze in doing both, but I would think he'd like to have one done before starting the other.

So I watched the first two episodes of 9th's season... I think I'm going to like this show.

So, what do you think of Ecclestone so far? He's one of my favourite Doctors, even though most people I ask seem not to like him so much.
