Yeah there hasn't really been a lot of stuff going on in these opening three episodes, but the action has been spectacular so I don't really mind the plot taking a back seat for it.

It always amazes me how they can put so much effort into suits that are only ever on screen for about ten minutes. I really like Chaos and Aigaron suit wise for the generals. Dogold looks awful and although both Lucky and Candi are fine I hate them so much as characters that I can't subtract that and enjoy the suits.

Megaranger 12

It seems to become another trend that after an okay Chisato Episode one of the other Megaranger gets an downright epic Episode.

This one was so awesome and Kouichi is by far one of my favorites together with Shun. I liked that he had to learn not to focus too much on just one mistake but instead work harder to get it right the next time.The Teacher character was really fun and a nice contrast to the uptight Kouichi who takes everything far to seriously sometimes.

The fight scenes were again very awesome and I like Mega Blacks fighting style alot. The way he piloted Galaxy Mega was also really cool and matched up with his personality pretty well.

I don't think he amounts to anything, though he is around for the whole show. If you like Ramirez more than I did, you may enjoy revisiting those episodes -- but I think perhaps a hazy, positive memory of his debut will serve you well going forward.

I skipped them because, 1) I hate Ramirez, 2) ep 5 involves a monster that gives everyone cavities (ugh), and 3) ep 6 has Candelira as the main general, whose goal is to perform an ear-shatteringly annoying concert.

One more note: Ep 8 has the debut of evil Pteragordon, but I skipped that one because I want to spare everyone the pain of Ovirapoo as much as possible (and, it's not super plot relevant -- you'll get what you need from the recap in front of Ep 9).

Watched Carranger 1-3. I know it's not finished yet, but eh, I felt like it. It's alright so far. Not nearly as zany as I was expecting. At least not yet. I like how Dappu had to fake his death to get them to do anything in the first ep though. The joke where they had to check to instruction manual for the weapons was pretty funny too. Still waiting for the team to stand out a bit more aside from Red Racer.

Also, all the commotion around Dino Charge makes me wanna just go and watch Go-Busters and Kyoryuger back to back. Dunno why, but it might be fun.

Oh God it's all coming back. Those episodes were horrible, that was where all the goofy shit that turned me off the series began, and where my hatred for Candi began also.

I remember evil Pteragordon being way more impressive than the good version, but I guess the fact I don't remember Ovirapoo is probably for the best and I wont revisit this episode either.

Evil Pteragordon is way more impressive than the good one (DAT CAPE!).

And after scanning the summaries, I realize that Ovirapoo (the... err... flatulent Zyudenchi) is episode 7. So you'd be safe to revisit Ep 8, if you want. It's a nice Nossan character episode, but like I said, it's not strictly necessary.

Sounds like 8 is worth visiting if it focuses on Nobu and introduces an evil giant robot.

Megaranger 13

A fun Episode that finally unleashed the all new powerfull Yugande on our poor Kenta. Their rivalry is build up pretty good and doesnt feel rushed or too drawn out. There is not much in term of character development in this Episode but alot of good comedy bits with all the male Megaranger trying to impress the new student Teacher.

Except for the little bits with Yugande and Kenta I cant quite figure out how this Episode will affect the show going forward. The whole "ultimate lifeform" business seems important enough that it could come up again in future episodes.


Megaranger 14

So that was pretty much the Super Sentai version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Really dug this Episode and I felt soooo bad for the little boy it felt like everything in his life pretty much was going downhill. I liked the interactions bewteen Miku and Kenta and they seem to have good chemistry since both of them are pretty lazy and dont like studying all that much, something I can relate to very well xD Miku being the only one that believed the boys story was pretty fitting for her character as she was up till now presented as someone who doesnt judge people before she gets to know them better.

The Monsters giant form looked really cool and creative being made up of hundreds of smaller Kunekune.
