I never liked being negative at all, but Pinkie does seem to drop the most on my Mane 6 rankings list. Other characters like Rainbow Dash have gotten more likable (and Rarity extremely so) over the 4 seasons. And to think there was a time Pinkie was my no. 2.

It's just that she was never that bad in seasons 1 and 2. She was somewhat offensive in season 3, but she's really mean this season, and it makes me sad, because I really liked Pinkie...

Actually, she was this bad in S2 at least, with how she handled Cranky's situation.

It's rather strange. Normally my bottom is Dashie, but Pinkie might end up taking that spot. In episodes focusing on her (Like Pinkie Apple Pie and Pinkie Pride), she's perfectly fine, but episodes featuring her as an ancillary character doesn't do her justice at all.

but she did it less in season 2, and she was trying to find him a new toupee. She's doing it a lot more now, and she's being much more offensive about it. She caused Cranky to get annoyed with her at that point, in this episode she caused Fluttershy to run away in tears.

Good point about Cranky's situation. I felt she was being quite rude in that episode too. Perhaps this isn't that new for Pinkie after all.

I don't know if anyone will ever supplant Dashie for my bottom choice. I don't hate Dashie though, I was just never fond of her character type. But like you, Pinkie might eventually take that spot for me.

I chalk it up to either WIS (Writer-induced stupidity) or PIS (Plot-induced stupidity).

That's unfortunate. It seems when the episode needs an inadvertent antagonist, Pinkie is the easy out for that role :\

In terms of Fluttershy, Pinkie is her opposite in the mane 6 (like Applejack to Rarity) but still...
