"Super Mega Job rangers" line yes, all the yes if they've got this series to make the red ranger as corny and or cocky as much as they want might as well use it. Also loved the actual call used for Mystic Force, was a bit sad at no SPD Emergency call but I imagine it was cut for time. Also the "having an identity crisis" line made me chuckle.

Also I think Gosei might have forgotten about the whole Power Rangers in Space invasion of Earth. Overall loved the episode it was a damn good episode even if they might have gone a little overboard on the new powers rock lines.

Not bad but for the 20th its still realy disapointing. I am glad they used the morph cahnge calls for the changes. I did LOVE the destroyed mall shot and blue looking through the school with the place blown to S$%*t. Am I the only one who wants to know what happened to robo knight? Also that last shot on the beach was Godly.

I'd say that it was passed my expectations for a first episode, unlike Megaforce did. I was absolutely stunning, great visuals, liked the morph change, and who wouldn't love the Legendary Changes from the past seasons of Power Rangers! I was actually surprised by that!

My overall grade for this first episode was: A-

It was a great episode, but had some flaws. One of them was the fact that they didn't explain why they haven't used the Ranger Keys and left them on the wall till now, and how they went from those uniforms to Pirate uniforms... yeah. Just my thoughts on the first episode. I'm actually excited after seeing the first episode of this one since it wasn't mediocre, just like Megaforce was, Just like Operation Overdrive and Samurai, since they definitely didn't live up to their Sentai counterparts: Boukenger and Shinkenger.

Ah...those were two very great sentai series.

Just watched the episode and I must say I'm impressed. It wasn't all that bad. I think if I hadn't seen Gokaiger then it would be better, since I wouldn't be seeing the Sentai characters in my mind. Looking forward to seeing where they take us.

My 2 major nitpicks are the "Super Mega" everything and the incessant talking. I hope "Super Mega" eventually isn't every other word, because it started to get annoying. The talking, jeez, they need to just let some of the action happen. You know it's bad when the usual "Yes Boss" Bariziorg goes to being a regular chatty Kathy. He had multiple lines every time he appeared on screen.

Sadly, I highly doubt his wish for all pink will come to pass, since it only happened once, and used FivePink and Pink Flash. Unless they were willing to put in the effort to make male versions of pinks that were in Power Rangers, but I don't trust the production team to put in that much effort.

If they just cut back on the talking,and actually made the sound effects actually sound like the objects instead of just lasers all the time,I'd be fine with it.

My thoughts exactly. I thought to my self "They are talking way too much during these fights." I don't remember other seasons doing that as much (Then again the only one I watched in recent years was Dino Thunder). I like the concept of their suits being linked to the statues in the base, and that's how they get the keys. It's a neat concept. I feel that there was too much fighting and not enough character interaction. We got like, 3 minutes of that, and the pacing was WAAAAAY too fast.I feel like if it were a two parter it would've immensely helped the pacing. It's really interesting, as this is the first PR season I've watched after the Sentai, so seeing Barizorg's (or whatever his name is PRSM is) actions not entirely match up with his dialogue was a bit jarring. The morph sequence looks cheaper to me than Gokaiger's as well. Though, they did use their individual zords separately, which I don't ever remember them doing in Gokaiger, so props to them for doing that. I did like the joke of "Am I the only one who notices my key is the wrong color?" "Jake, there's a simple explanation for that-" I really liked Gosei's straightforward, serious delivery of that line. Also, why does Insarn talk like the Mandarin from Iron Man 3? (They'lllll neveerrrrr expect cherry blossoommmss.)

I haven't been a Power Rangers fan for a long time and that was when they were simply imports of single shows. This doubling up of 2 series together makes them almost unwatchable. My opinion may normally be biased away from Power Rangers, but this show has some glaring issues. I begrudge no one who enjoyed this show but I had to express my opinion just as anyone who liked it can express theirs.

I will say the "why green instead of black" moment was pretty funny. A great way to explain things is to never talk about them after all. Anyways, I welcome the hate I am about to receive for my opinion of this episode
