Heisei are the current day characters. Showa are the older ones.
Showa doesn't have a chance, with fewer numbers and weaker powers.

Just to clarify, the Showa-Era was from December 1926 to January 1989, so Liveman was the last Showa-Sentai and Turboranger the first Heisei Sentai... So 12 Showa Teams against (current status) 26 Heisei-Teams... I'm afraid this looks bad for Showa already, so the Heisei-Upgrades don't matter anyway xD We could have an Goranger-Ohranger vs. Carranger-Toqger, to even that out, but that wouldn't make sense. And then, the Heisei upgrades would matter, so... looks bad for Team Goranger-Ohranger...

But actually, I don't see the point in Sentai vs. Sentai, at least with such a huge group. I already thought Showa vs Heisei Riders was bullshit, so as for Sentai: Nope, thanks.

I think it will be cool if around its 50th anniversary the kids of Pre-Gokaiger sentai heroes were the chosen 5+ rangers. Gai/Gokaisilver can be the mentor.

You have a point about that Suzu. What I really want to see is a big villain like Zangyack invade the Earth which forces the Super Sentai to gather again to counter such a threat. And maybe just keep their powers as well(as much as I love Gokaiger, a V2 of it would not work) but at least see the Sentai working together. Personally I just want to see the Gokaigers and Kyoryugers back in action again because they are part of my top 5 teams.

I highly doubt a second Legend War will happen. Besides, I get the feeling the 40th Super Sentai series will probably be a little more low-key than what Gokaiger was.

What I really want to see, though, is all the Sentai Reds teaming up, similar to Forever Red from Power Rangers Wild Force.
