I've been throwing around one that was part of SPD; that the Rangers the show revolves around aren't the only group, but part of a larger organization with multiple Ranger teams.

Green=Zombie
Yellow=Ghost
Pink=Mermaid

i would love to see a sentai with a combination of both a knight and dragon motif. In a way, it would be like magiranger. With each ranger having control over a specific element.

Red: Fire
Blue: Water
Black: Shadow
Yellow: Lightning
Pink: Wind

6th Ranger:
Green: Wood/Earth

Noir themed!

Their suits could be entirely black and white - Detective One, Detective Two etc etc They could fight gangsters and the episodes could be framed as cases of the week. Plus the sixth Ranger could be a Femme Fatale.
