Double post, so I'll just continue the above:
And now Dandy's doing the sensible thing and trying to escape the time loop by leaving the planet in a random ship, but they wake up again because space god hates them or something. Oh and the cause of the time loop? the page-a-day calendar was struck by techno babble!  Otherwise, there's quite a bit of touching moments in the episode.
