I should really get around to buying the other Buddyroids but I keep forgetting. It'd be nice having a "complete" ( ) Figuarts Go-Busters set. |

I'm pretty jelly seeing this, I always passed on good deals on those figures because the lack of show accuracy and the reported QC issues from some people but seeing them all together like that is just kinda glorious.

While I haven't had any problems with QC, I will say I think that the Go-Busters mold is probably the worst mold used for Sentai Figuarts. Their shoulders are pretty unforgivably awful, hindering articulation and looking pretty bad in a lot of poses at the same time. That's why I sort of took my time before buying them. Gorisaki and Cheeda have completely different molds so they benefit from that, but Gorisaki has the problem of coming with absolutely nothing, including no extra hands (although from what I understand the in-show suit is made like that). Yellow Buster is awesome for coming with Usada though, especially because she sells for cheaper then Gorisaki and Blue Buster. Not sure about show accuracy though. I haven't actually watched Go-Busters yet but I can't see much wrong comparing pictures. |

In terms of show accuracy, it's mainly the weird elongated bodies, and oddly squashed helmets and the sausage limbs.

Ah, no more 3000 yen Gorisakis on Mandarake, maybe I waited too long. Guess I'll just have to keep waiting. Haha Also, been trying to work on my posing and picture taking to make them more "epic" looking so to speak. Here is my first try: I think getting a mirror-base might make the photo better. Tell me what you guys think! |
