Yep yep. Because that scene is detailing an event over a millennium old, many took it as a sign that young Celestia had a solid pink mane.
When adult Tia has the solid colored mane, then it's usually Molly, but filly Tia with a solid pink mane is usually Celestia.

And I tend to forget about that scene, too
