The sad reality is us critical folks on our message boards make up a very VERY small minority. So as much as it's a kick in the balls that this 'made for fans' show is actually nothing of the sort, Saban are laughing their way to the bank as young children and their parents, who don't know any better, line Saban's coffee with gold as they churn out a subpar program and a subpar toyline.

Just bumping this thread as a reminder: No, Sentai hasn't forgotten to put up the Power Ranger discussion thread for tomorrow. There isn't an episode tomorrow. I think because of the Kids Choice Awards tomorrow night. So no episode this week, but next week sees the introduction of Silver! And then the summer hiatus.. But Silver!

Actually, Power Rangers continues to be one of the lowest, if not the lowest show in terms of ratings in the kids block on Saturday mornings for Nickelodeon. On almost every other network it would be considered a failure.

And that begs the question asked ad nauseum,

If it's failing, why aren't they trying any of that "effort" stuff to make humans actually like it?

Even those tween sitcoms, while horsecrap, have mor effort put into them than PR is getting.
