Zeta Gundam: New Translation 2: Lovers

For an autistic kid, Kamille sure does get around.

The main plot development at the beginning of this movie was Four Muramase and her angst. So while trying to get out of the Earth sphere, in Hong Kong, Kamille meets this girl. And proceeds to kiss her. Despite the fact that he has a girlfriend.

So she vents about how she has no memories of her past and can't stand having no memories. And then there's this big flying..... brick that Titan is using to destroy the city that Four gets in. And it becomes... HOLY SHIT A GIANT FUCKING GUNDAM!

Psyco Gundam was fucking badass, looming over both the Mark-II and the Rick Dias and causing so much destruction. Although the pilot attacking Kamile even though she found out he was piloting the Mark-II was kinda bullshit. She puts her memories over a relationship.

The next scene was an awesome talking it out scene with Kamille in the Psyco Gundam's cockpit trying to talk Four out of it. We actually got some background on him due to this scene (finally) and he was raised by his neighbor/ girlfriend Fa? And he talks shit about her too to Four. But I thought it was kinda funny that this entire scene happened while they were falling and neither of them are in a major hurry. At one point he starts kissing her and it looked like he was going to go down on her and I was thinking "Whoa Kamille, this isn't the time or place to do that, especially in a falling Gundam.

She and the Psycho Gundam get destroyed. The Psyco Gundam was in literally two scenes. Da hell? I imagine this was a pretty emotional arc in the series but this movie seemed to just cut it down to the beginning and end.

I like the Zeta Gundam design, especially in the new footage. The bulkiness of the Zeta with some new wings, weapons and a blue color scheme. I also like the fact that the Mark II didn't get destroyed when Kamille upgraded.

So the crew stop a colony drop on a moon city, escape said moon city from exploding, something about Cyber Newtypes and the transfer of personnel.

I'M A FIRIN' MY LASAR!.... Again. Hyaku Shiki + giant cannon is always a win for me.

The final battle of the movie was anticlimactic except for the axis guys. I am really interested to see who they are.

Marathoning Puella Magi Madoka Magica since it just appeared on Netflix, and with the Rebellion Story being a week away from Blu-ray release it sounds like perfect timing. Really enjoy watching it again, plus this is my first time watching the eng dub.

The trailers don't do the Voice Actors justice, they really are on par with the original japanese dubs. They got Madoka and Kyoko right on spot, Mami I had to grow use since she's sound just a wee bit older than she should but I still enjoy how it turned out.

Madoka is on Netflix?

We watched episodes 9 and 10 of Space Dandy (the plant and the time loop ones) and they were both actually pretty awesome.

None of the anime for next season really catches my attention. If I were to check out anything though, it might be M3. Yu-Gi-Oh! should have ended for realz when 5Ds ended. That series has over stayed its welcome. ZeXaL was utter crap and this Arc V looks to be just as bad. The series was at its best when it dealt with mythology.

Now I cannot wait for Sailor Moon, Pyscho Pass 2, and whenever Attack on Titan S2 comes out.
