Going from what I've been told over the years, Kamen Rider is more mainstream then Sentai in Japan and Kamen Rider is market towards to older kids then Sentai is.

As true as this is, because of Masked Rider and Dragon Knight led me to become a big fan of Kamen Rider.

Not completely true. Media Blasters did not market Kamen Rider The First at all when they brought it to the US. In fact, had I not been working at Best Buy when it did come out, I probably would not have even known about it. When I saw it come in, I made sure to not only buy myself a copy, but pimp it out to anyone I could and we managed to sell all four of our copies, but then when we got a new shipment, they just sat there until they were part of our sendback report.

They didn't have to ruin The First. It came pre-ruined.

While the movie wasn't perfect, it was pretty good and an interesting retelling. I still need to see The NExt though since I kept waiting for MB to bring it out but I guess that is not going to happen.

I really wish Funimation or someone would start bringing Toku to the US. Granted, it will probably be another 10 years before we have companies that will take Toku seriously since it took over 20 years to get companies to take anime seriously.
