Yeah, they really are. Plus, the ending is completely different from the ending to the series.

I really like Zeta's series as a whole and I definitely recommend watching ZZ after the series. ZZ starts out really whacky and light hearted because of how Zeta ended, but then around episode 20, the show goes for the more serious route and just gets down right amazing once Haman Karn takes center stage. The only weird thing about ZZ is no Char.

Just watched episode 176 ( fairy tail series 2 episode 1 as on crunchyroll ) and it was awesome I loved the anime love how they went with it.

I just saw it a few minutes ago, I LOVE how they're continuing on from Natsu & Gajeel's fight against Sting & Rouge and how they made Sabertooth as much of an asshole in the anime as he was in the manga, hell I think they went further with it cause he killed Sting's damned exceed, that bastard .
