Dekaranger only really had 7. Deka Swan was extremely minor and Deka Bright and Deka Gold were incredibly minor. Heck, Deka Swan had more on-screen time in Gokaiger then Dekaranger.

True,but it does show that you can have more then 8 and make it work.Even if the ones past 7 are minor roles,they still add to the story.

Even if you just go by the electromagnetic spectrum there's going to be at least 7. And I could easily see ToQ 1 getting some kind of power-Up based on Infra-Red. After all this team is based on rainbows I.E. the visible spectrum of light

R (Red/ToQ 1)
O (Orange/ToQ 6)
Y (Yellow/ToQ 3)
G (Green/ToQ 4)
B (Blue/ToQ 2)
I
V (Pink/ToQ 5)

Leaving an Indigo/purpleish colored ranger. If the ToQ 0/ReiGo rumors are true then I think it's safe to assume it's Indigo/puprle or possibly white or black. Absence of light or total presence of it. Either way I'd assume a ToQ 0 to be a prototype version of the powers for the others and based on some hints I've sort of gotten it in my head, I think General Schwartz could actually be human and therefor a ToQger. Albeit a brainwashed one right now.

I was riding witcha on the ROY G BIV thing, but schwartz a TQG? Hmmmmmm indeed. 0 would work then, making him black, and 7 white.
