I wouldn't really know. I got mine from my dad and didn't really ask about that shit. As long as it works it's good to use.

But given that some go for over three hundred pounds - that is like what, six hundred dollars? - I'm wonder WHY that is the case, do some cook your dinner for you too?

I have to shave every other day and I use disposable razors. Electric razors just don't work in my experience. If you are worried about your skin there is a lot of products you can use pre and post shave to protect you're money maker.

Even using sensitive gels and expensive balms can't seem to stop me, after shaving, looking like Freddy Krueger.

I have the series 2 version of that one Locke. It gets the job done and has never irritated my skin/tore it up =D
I have however switched to regular razors, can't beat a bit of Gillette pro glide Nothing to do with the Shaver itself, I was just having to shave every other day to follow disneys stupid rules and it turns out my charger wouldn't work. Had to suck it up and buy a regular razor, and I can honestly say it's 1000 times better. But they're tearing up your face then that ain't no fun! |

My beard is so thick I can't really use an electric razor. I have to go with old fashioned blades if I want to get shaved.
I also tend to put off shaving since the beard does hide surgery scars and let's face it, lumpy scars aren't fun to shave. At all. |
