Well, the 40th season still has a chance to actually air next year...but really late next year, depending on when Toqger and it's follow up end, but it seems unlikely.

Now i'm wondering if the 40th will have a vs super sentai special, which members of Gobusters, Kyoryuger and Toqger will make it in?

Sentai much like Kamen Rider continues to make Bandai gobs of money. The toylines sell so the shows won't be dying any time soon. Even if the ratings get worse and worse, as long as the toylines sell it's all good.

Yup, and for ratings they still have a trump card in changing the time slot, if necessary. But that would depend on the ratings of the other Superhero Time shows like Kamen Rider.

As long if toys sell well then it won't end. We will likely get a trademark for the 2015 Sentai sometime in September or October.
