Oh yeah, that's right they already HAVE a black guy as a major member of the JLA: Green Lantern John Stewart. The character created as a Token who became a great character with motivations, depth, personality and a life of his own.

Nope, let's just take a member from another team.

Mark my words, that'll probably happen with Wolverine and the Avengers if Disney buys the X-men movie liscence.

That could have been cool but I´m too big an Arthur Curry fan to not be mad about this.

I am just puzzled they didnt just use The Martian Manhunter. His human alias is black in most continuities.

I love Arthur, but at this point I take any Aquaman possible.

I guess being green most of the time put him out of their radar.
