To go over an issue plaguing pre-orders:

Earlier in January, we ran into a problem with pre-orders for Dragon Dagger and Dragonzord where the pre-orders appeared on Toysrus.ca and people found that you could change the .ca to .com to get a Toysrus.com link. Many people pre-ordered the Dragon Dagger and Dragonzord that way and have ran into a multitude of issues including the pre-orders being canceled.

How can we avoid this for the last month or so until the release?

First off, there is NO LEGITIMATE PRE-ORDER AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW ON TOYSRUS.COM FOR LEGACY DRAGONZORD.

However, it is up for pre-order from ToysRUs.ca.

Everything is perfectly fine on their page:

SKN Number: 085718
Product UID: 09B3162A
UPC/EAN/ISBN: 045557968465
Manufacturer #: 96845

However, if you switch the .ca to .com:

All of the information stays the same, which the UPC/Manufacturer # is correct, but the rest is wrong.

A valid pre-order for Legacy Dragonzord will show an item number/"R"Web# is 030223. and a SKU number other than 09B3162A.

Be careful with your pre-orders. I don't want people to run into issues and risk not getting it. The item number for a correct pre-order should be 17512617 in your email or on the TRU Site when you check the order status, but I can't confirm if that is the same for everyone.

There are several other places to pre-order until TRU puts them back up or in stock:
