Still as we don't know how it would continue it is possible that they might become enemies, but it is also possible that Homura also learns how wrong she was. Still it is possible that there could be a middle ground that Madoka could come and go as a God as she pleases with Homura's help. However these are all just ideas I have speculated.

I think your greatly overestimating someone who was prepared to wipe her best friend's memories against her will to make what she considered 'happy', but each to their own.

I just hope they don't make any more after this to find out.

Agreed, Even though Madoka magica is my #1 anime for me, I really do hope it stops in the next season or possibly another movie, I don't want the whole Madoka Magica series become a lame cash cow, it's what they kinda aimed for "The Rebellion Story", but it was still good. Have a good ending the next time around like it "The Rebellion Story" was originally post to have. Gen, said the original script had the ending where all the Magica Girls go against a army of Kyubey for the final battle... Imagine how cool that would be?

Oh man, why didn't that happen?! I mean I could definitely see a Magica Girls vs Incubators battle needing to happen rather than the Girls fighting other Magical Girls honestly.

I've read Urobuchi was persuaded to end it because it would ensure the franchise could continue. There are snippets of interviews on reddit and such that say that but none of them really have a proper source.

There actually is. I bought the MAdoka Magica Rebellion Story collectors edition, and it came with a booklet of behind the staff. I forgot exactly what he says, but he wasn't persuaded or such to it, he gives us a clear reason as to why he changed the ending, I'll post it when I get home.
