Started reading my first New 52 Batgirl trade this morning. Despite the hype around New 52 Batman I just couldn't get into that series at all. Batgirl is different, with Simone at the helm you can expect a certain level of quality anyway but Batgirl is really good, think I'll be diving into this all day when I can.

Yeah that Killing Joke stuff is...confusing to say the least. Do they ever clear that up or is that just left to sit and be a massive continuity hole?

More that that story is still in continuity at all, since it makes no sense in New 52 continuity at all.

Yeah, it's still in continuity. It comes up quite a bit later when the Death of the Family crossover happens.
