Gundam 00 episode 4
Everybody seems to be manipulating the fuck out of each other. But it seems like everybody but Clelestial being doesn't think about their manipulation being manipulated by CB. i like the twist that the Gundams attacked Teribia, makes a lot more sense then the "Kill both sides" plan they used last episode. Zeta Gundam episode 38 And back to the show I was watching. Not much happened aside from Kamille and Quattro getting back to space. Oh now, Reccoa switched sides . Gundam 00 Episode 5 Even though this episode didn't contribute much to the overall plot as of now, it did set up some characters/ arcs. Marie is so deadpan its not even funny. But yeah, as of now, she seems pretty messed up. Why would you accidentally fire at the colony? Get your finger off the trigger! But that scene with Dynames and the huge ass gun was pretty cool. Honestly the choice to focus on characters, in a world that isn't nearly as forced with its girliness, made this opening episode a lot more enjoyable than Charge and Heartcatch. And sure there still IS girliness before someone goes "But...", but here it feels naturalistic, and they didn't drown every second in it. There was even princessiness to the fighting in the other shows, but here it feels like they're focusing on a cohesive story, rather than trying to appeal to a demographic they know nothing about. I guess this one actually has women working on it, or at least a female test audience.
Especially considering you gave the previous two one episode to judge...

Well it seems that the show finally stopped trying to explain everything to us in one episode and they finally flesh out the baddies a little more. We get a bit more action this time too. We get our first reuse of stock footage here, and while it was kind annoying I have to say: Gattai footage is much cooler when we aren't forced to sit through them every episode. I know Daichi is still a combat newb and everything but maaaaaaaaaan he really sucks at his job. Granted, he was against two opponents this time but so far every one of his fights he's either lucked out or had someone backing him up in the nick of time. |

Finished Tsukihime. Now time to watch Zatch Bell but subbed instead of dubbed.

Gundam 00 episode 6
Wow, the Gundams are picking a fight against a country whose literal economy is made up of private military organizations. Also, the AEU has plans to fight the Gundams... I think. Hire some mercenaries, poke their heads in other people's shit but not actual help struggling countries. Ah, its nice to know humanity hasn't changed in 300 years... Um... Ms. Sumeragi, you tits are falling out of your shirt during a mission, could you do something about that.... |

Considering the fact that not all Precure incarnations, while sharing the same formula, have the same tones, it's sounds more like HeartCatch and Happiness Charge more weren't your style rather than something as harsh as them being written by people who don't understand their audience.
Especially considering you gave the previous two one episode to judge... But yeah the princesiness OF THE EPISODES I WATCHED turned me off pretty hardcore. I personally don't think girls like in those shows actually exist anywhere on the planet. And sure we don't come here for realism, but I also don't know any girls - and I'm not sure they exist either - who turn to shows for role models whose defining traits are liking dresses, the colour pink and boys. And if that IS all they need to look up to someone then yeesh... So yeah, the choice to set Petty Cure in the real world, with actual characters, is a "tone" I really appreciated.

Gundam 00 episode 7
Oh my. It seems Celestial Being's interventions have left another country indebted to their master. Oh and Setsuna's backstory. But more on that later I like how the Terror attacks exposes a lot of the feelings of each meister (except Allelujah) as they talk about what to do. |

Forgot to mention that I finally started Monogatari Second Season. Just in time to get it done before the next series starts!
![]() I went into Tsubasa Tiger with apprehension just because I'm bored of the ungodly amount of focus this show gives Hanekawa. I know she probably has the most fleshed out background of all of the cast but her story seems to just go on and on. Thankfully this was undoubtedly the best of her three arcs, giving great characterisation to all of her personas and tying everything up nice and neatly. I think it helped that Koyomi wasn't around either, as the characters all interact quite differently without him. Meanwhile Mayoi Jiangshi was PERFECT, hands down my favourite Monogatari arc so far. Sure it sucks if you're a Mayoi fan because she's barely in it, but as a Shinobu fan I couldn't have been happier. Even though I could see the twists coming a mile off, that didn't make them any less unsatisfying to see unfold onscreen.

Gundam 00 episode 8
"Are you here to kill me?" "No, killing you won't change the world" Makes Setsuna a million times better then Heero Yuy. Just some clean up of the terrorists at the end of last episode. More hinting at backstory for Setsuna and even some stuff for Lock-On. But Setsuna being like "Oh I'm a Gundam Meiseter and you'd better know that lady that runs the country that overran mine" is stupid. Every character in this show has done a stupid thing so far and I get it, everybody makes a mistake or two but Setsuna needs to get off the angst pills. Oh and there was some action in this episode... I think. Episode 9 "Damn it! Our character development left us wandering into enemy territory!" This was still a good episode, but its more like setup for the next one. Any of you who have seen my original posts on Gundam 00 know there's a specific Kabuto joke I'm going to make next episode. Episode 10 CAST OFF! CHANGE, NADLEEH! Oh come on, it's totally a rip off of cast off from Kabuto. I like Nadleeh a hell of a lot more then his armored form. Although I don't see what makes it different from the Exia in terms of combat abilities. But him using the cannons as glove guns was cool. I wonder if Nadleeh is a ginger.... Its hair is so fabulous! Oh my god, crying, screaming from emotional pain and psychopaths all in one episode! Hell yeah this is a Gundam series! Hallelujah you are one sick mother fucker.
