Totally a valid reasoning if that were the case... But it just doesn't feel that way at all.
No, it pretty much felt like they genderbent him for the sake of doing it. Caesar literally calls her his "Aphrodite" and her gender was revealed just for the sake of getting him back to her side because of her beauty... Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero's Saber - also known as King Arthur/Arturia - is everywhere. She's insanely popular. And that's just the anime. There's also more games than just Stay Night that feature her. So it's been done before. And yes, she's a badass at times... but also literally just the clichéd love interest at others. Make your own female character if you want to show a powerful one. Genderbending King Arthur, who was most definitively male, to "create" one and then just resort to sex appeal... Nah, I don't like it. |

I wonder what Nobunaga would've been like had it just been using original characters from the start? Thus far, there hasn't really been a huge pay off for them sharing their names except for making you wonder what the hell is up with the planet works and how they all ended up there.

Looking at the series up to this point and ignoring the names: I don't think this anime would've stood out too much had it just went with original chars. |

Capt.Earth 08:
Oh hey look! Disel Ressha cameos: ![]() I think Captain Earth is starting to get more interesting. It's neat that by using the Earth Engine's core we can have a robot fight that's more akin to Gundam or Code Geass, the show isn't a one trick pony and Daichi's shown some improvement this episode. We also get a new villain this episode though honestly, I liked the character a bit more before he became one. |

Gundam 00 season 2 episode 3
So Allelujah finally lost his emo hair cut. But he was in a prison... so does that mean that they cared enough about his hair to not shave him bald all the time or let it grow out? Cherudim Gundam was a badass. And fuck yeah Seravee. And Arios too. Oddly enough, 00 didn't even enough badass in this episode. That end scene with Tieria welcoming back Allelujah showed so much of his character development. The dude has lightened up quite a lot yet can do serious really really well. episode 4 That intro, the feels man! Well this episode sure had a lot of moping. And the introduction of Mr. Bushido. Wait, Alleujah can't use his quantum brainwaves anymore? The fuck? Now that makes him as boringly normal as Lock-on(love ya buddy) Damn Lock-on, you sure do know how to make the moves on the ladies. Build Fighters 24. This show is gorgeous, and so imaginative, this is the battle we've been waiting for. I love this show.

Welp, finished everything Steins;Gate has to offer. It ended up so much better than I expected, even resolving everything I found confusing in the first few episodes. It was indeed pretty good.
Now to figure out what to watch next... With no gaming for the next week I'll have plenty of free time in the evening to watch something. ![]() Anyone have any suggestions from this list? [The exception being no FA:B yet, since I want to watch that on Netflix and since I'm sharing an account but without the password... I only have access to that on my Xbone.]

Judging from your list, I say Code Geass. The Gurren Lagann parallel works videos are pretty cool as well and don't take a long time to watch.
