I just (finally) got a Legacy Megazord. Cannot wait for the Dragonzord so I can make the Dragonzord in Battle Mode ... something I loved as a kid and think it's the coolest mode!

Fortunately, TRU didn't let me down, and this is like the 4th time in a row. I'm impressed with them, not at all in their shipping method. -_-
Well built, sturdy and a steal at the $60.00 I paid. I enjoy it quite a bit, but I'm not sure it would have been as appealing to me, had that full price hit my wallet. For many, I understand their waiting all this time and willing to spend what's a drop in the bucket considering all the other times we've all blown through a wad of money in pursuit of these gems. For me, the sweet spot was and is $60.00. I had read that some even got their's for $50.00 (some coupon wrangling) and while that's cool and all, I'm fine with $60.00, it actually deserves that price tag. $50.00's too low (c'mon, die-cast and expertly painted!) and $80.00's way too much. With that in mind, what I paid for ended up being quite a gem. Heavy, the tail weapon is imposing (it's taller than all of my Masterpiece Transformers. Dwarfs DOTM Jetwing Optimus. Crazy!) and it just looks flat out beautiful. Bandai did a wonderful job here. Said I wouldn't buy Titanus due to the suspected price, but ...I'll end up caving. I know I will. The MegaDragonzord looks incredible and it must have it's closure, a sense of completeness, if you will. ![]() |
