It's not really Hibiki, but here's the Kamen Rider Blade OP. Creditless, of course. Raws by Bunny Hat.

If you need a QC and just an overall grammar nazi, I'm willing to help out. I've taken up to High School-level Japanese IV, so I can provide as a backup to help interpret dialogue. I'm one of the few knuckleheads that actually devote most of my time on Kamen Rider wiki to make sure the grammar and plot for most things related to Kamen Rider Gaim is correct. I literally have a lot of free time on my hands now, so if you'd like to have just extra help or backup, I'm always here (I can give you my contact info such as Skype, my number, etc) and I have adequate experience with Aegisub (not really karaoke).
I highly recommend using the Source Sans Pro Semibold font for dialogue. It looks superb when it comes to text and it is clean and minimal. It's what I use in place of Aesir's Calibri because I honestly can't stand that font after it was used in W, OOO, Gokaiger, Go-Buster, Fourze (Aesir), and Gaim. So if you plan on working on both a non-fancy effect script and a fancy effect script with a script (with time codes) you are already working with, it might be best to have two people work on the clean and fancy scripts (not translation) as it'd probably seem more efficient and more meaningful that way and it serves as a way for me to QC the script (assuming if you even want me '^'). Also, are you going to mux in two scripts with the ability to switch between clean typeset and fancy typesetting? That would seem the best and most logical way than releasing two seperate releases. Having one mkv with the two scripts is way better and it'd save the unnecessary dual-uploads if I'm interpreting all of this correctly. PS: for the Kamen Rider Blade Opening, the font size is a bit big and a bit squished in the x axis, you can set the scale x% to 90 and have the font-size be about 22. That would make it look a lot nicer than it is now. EDIT: Just saw screenshots on your page, my Blade opening doesn't appear like the one in your screenshots. Is it because I lack the fonts needed for the opening typesetting? PSS: I hope the clean typeset provides not animations, but just a nice, plain font for attacks, dialogue, etc. and isn't overdone like in TVN. It isn't heavy or effect heavy at all, it's just a simple font and it doesn't destroy the actual content being shown. Here are some examples of what I do in my free time for clean, minimal typeset. It's the only way how I can manage watching Gaim with Aesir's script and not explode from the Calibri font: ![]() ![]() Last edited by Crt; 06-12-2014 at 02:12 AM.. |

Personally, I would use Comic Sans. Just to troll everybody.

If.you really would like to help, you can PM me with some external contact info like Skype or whatever it may be. We can talk there. About the typesetting for Hibiki 01, considering there isn't really attacks or henshin calls, it's just the same font for dialogue as well as the Japanese text. At the end of the episodes, the Karaoke has it's own font. I might take your suggestion about the basic font. EDIT: Hibiki 01 coming at 12:00 PM CST (sometime near there). EDIT 2: I didn't think of having both scripts in one... *facepalm* Last edited by PikaMaster11; 06-12-2014 at 10:27 AM.. |

I wouldn't worry too much about a hardsub release. While most people would appreciate it, most people have access to devices that can run the mkv and softsubs fine. If people want to watch on a big-screen TV, there might be a problem there, but I would just invest in a OUYA Android Console (about $100), buy the PLEX app ($5) from the Play Store. This allows you to stream media files to an Android device from your PC.

I silently await the day that a TV show uses Goudy Stout. Or maybe at least Comic Sans.
That'll be the day. |
