Yeah... I took a look at the episode. It was definitely like an acid trip. At every scene I would just think to my self "what the hell is going on?"

I tried watching Adventure Time when I wasn't stoned and found it really dull. Bravest Warriors on the other hand is always fun.

Just started the Matrix arch of Reboot and finished the Hero Selective episode last night.
I still can't beleive that they made the always gets into trouble little kid of the show and turned him into a muccle bound bad ass. Still, I think the shock value would've been a lot more powerful had they not went and spoiled whom Matrix was in the opening monolouge. |

So I've been watching more of Hulk and the Agents of SMASH and Avengers Assemble on and off as it's been coming on TV.
AA gets slightly better, it has some cool moments but it still seems like a lazy attempt at cashing in on the whole Cimenatic Universe thing. And when it isn't cashing in on the Marvel cinematic universe, it's making the Avengers look like unruely children, Hawkeye is particular comes off as rather douchey in this series. And my beef with Red Skull has hit a new low, Cosmic Skull…what is with these writers in putting ridiculous subtitles and prefixes to Skull's name? It just comess of as WAY the hell silly. Red skull really did nothing to earn himself the post as both main villian for this season AND final boss. IMO: he just doesn't feel like that big of a deal to me. I think of the three Marvel cartoons currently airing, Agents of SMASH is slightly above the rest of the pack. I like watching it from time to time, even if the reality tv-like segemnts bring it down sometimes. You'rep robably wondering why I'm still watching these shows if all I'm going to do is complain about them? What can I say? they're gulty pleasures and I enjoy a good mindless super hero show every now and then. |
