What? When was Gen 5 ever like that? And I wanted Gen 5 because I'm pretty sure Gen 5 has literally no Mega evos. It seems they did that with a lot of Mega evolutions. Granted, a lot were just pointless buffs to already OP Pokemon, but then there were others that got the boost they desperately needed, like Kangaskhan or Ampharos.
