It might be (I never watched all of 5Ds as the show got really dumb after Godwin was defeated) but it just cannot work with the original timeline since when did Yugi participate in another Pegasus tournament? He went right from BC to fighting Dartz to using the KCGP to get back to Japan and then went right to Egypt afterwards.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time - I got the BD released today since it included the original Japanese version subtitled. ON the positive side, the subtitles are actual subtitles and not dubtitles. Unfortunately, they use the freaking English names for the cards instead of the names being spoken, which is very distracting. I was getting really annoyed at hearing Sin but seeing Malefic in the subs. At least the character names are correct.
Also, I do not understand why, but the audio is only in 2.0 even though the Japanese BD was in 5.1. That was also annoying. Aside from that though, the video looked gorgeous and the music is fantastic. The plot of the movie is what you would expect from a non-canonical anime movie, but it is just that, non-canonical and meant to act as just a nice anniversary feature. It is great seeing Atem and Yugi back with all of the god mode card rules and at least Judai did not have the chance to be a whiner. Overall, it was worth supporting something in the US with the Japanese version intact and I hope it sells well enough to warrant the other series getting uncut bilingual releases. I give the movie a 6/10 as it really is only for Yu-Gi-Oh! fans. |

I think it's also canon for GX since it takes place after the final episode.

Finally getting around to watching Aldnoah Zero episode 2.
I'll agree that there really isn't anything original to this series, at least not yet. We have Earth VS Martians from Gundam AGE, a tone that reminds me of Attack on Titan, and oh yeah the Bumblebee pick up truck scene from the first Bay movie. At the same time though, I'm kind of enjoying it, the mechs look neat and I like that they're taking a very realistic approach to this whole war thing. It isn't flawless, Inaho is as interesting as a potatoe, and it does try a little too hard, but I don't see anything that makes me wanna completely write this series off. |

Finally, I watched Akame ga Kill Episode 2:
Episode #2: I found the animation of this episode to be generic and sloppy-ish to me, but otherwise, that was the only problem with the episode to me. Anyways, I liked how Leone introduced Tatsumi to the other members of Night Raid. Another thing I liked about this episode was the superb fight scene between Tatsumi vs Ogre. I was glad when Tatsumi put that scumbag in his place. I really I have high hopes for this anime and it can see that it has lots of potential, like SAO II. |

In his defense, the Moonlight Butterfly didn't show up until much later in the series.
