Tennant's Who accent was so convincing it always shocks me a little when you see him slip back into his natural accent. And so although it annoys me he had to subdue a natural, attractive, accent at least he made something of it. Going by the trailer Capaldi just doesn't.

Well. After watching the episode, which I will NOT spoil for people, I have to say I feel much more positive about this series than the last one. There's some good meaningful stuff in this first episode. Can't wait to see the actual finished product!

Grah. I'm going to have to pay three times the cost of this thing to get it from someone who went to Comic-Con. Sorry if this is old news, I just saw it for the first time today. Last edited by Thessair; 07-15-2014 at 01:05 PM.. |

http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite....ens-in-august/ More 3.5" figures (and another Capaldi!). I'm not really a fan of any of them, but to each their own. Although I am a fan of this:http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite....hip-and-pilot/ |

Decided that as Pertwee's other adventures probably wouldn't benefit from Bluray I'd collect them all on DVD but I was quickly annoyed at how they've been released, with half of his serials appearing on boxsets with random adventures from other Doctors. Why can't I just get his stuff on its own?

Yeah but if I'm collecting the Third Doctor then why must I also buy a random episode from seven or four or whatever? I don't plan on collecting them so I'm just lumbered with a single out of context story.
