You guys gotta remember that Kouta was holding way back, due to him still being hesitant to fight Miichi in the first place. I'm sure that attributed to how serious he was into the fight as well. That's the only explanation I can think of as to why Miichi won that fight…other than that: |

Micchy probably just had an adrenaline rush moment, coupled by his growing insanity and willingness to go all out, is what allowed him to handle Kouta and Kaito. Plus, you saw the difference Kouta had when he fought Micchy when he found out Zangetsu Shin wasn't Takatora. He would've beaten him back then had Micchy not thrown Duduonshu (whatever his name was) in the way of the blast.

As much as I enjoyed watching this episode I do have some issues. Ryouma felt like a side thing they stuffed in (probably for next week) and I can see why people are impatient with waiting for Kouta to just end Micchy (I'm getting there myself). Hopefully Micchy will die a painful death sooner than later. Was great seeing Takatora again, even though he was just a twisted figment of Micchy's broken psyche. I have a feeling that's over with now though. Does anyone know if the actor's gotten his bouquet of doom yet? Also, apologies for the opening post. I thought it would be ok given it was in the preview.

And Kaito does what I figured he would - explain Micchy's sudden badass fighting capabilities. "He's no longer the same person. The fear and hesitation from before are gone. He has crossed a line that he can never come back from."

Looks like Mitsuzane has gone full out Asakura. I love it.

Kouta was holding back and Micchy wasn't, no matter how strong Kiwami is, it doesn't have an unbreakable defense, it could be still damaged using Energy arms. After killing Takatora he became stronger, but he had to trade his sanity for it, I guess that's a fair trade for strength. Although I wonder if Micchy is truly going to become a berserker or is it just a momentary thing. This episode just shows how the main 3 riders are becoming monsters in different sort of ways. It's pretty damn great.
