Well, as of about lunchtime yesterday, episode 2 is in the wild. I just grabbed it and am about to sit down and watch. For those interested, it's available at the same Gokaiger friendly place as last time.

That wasn't unexpected. The new companion almost always leaves the next season, sometimes before, a Doctor change. The only exception was Rose.

She wasn't an exception, she left in Tennant's first season.
