Out of all the characters he has received the most characterization throughout the series. From the second-string dancer who had a crush on Mai to the weasel that started playing all sides - the Beat Riders, Yggdrasill/Takatora, and the Energy Riders - to the man who thought he had it all figured out by allying with Redue only to end up with nothing, leaving him to make his own ultimate sacrifice - his life in order to stop Kouta who he truly believed was a villain - to having nothing left to live or give his life for as Mai is gone.

Sounds like a set-up for the villain to turn hero at the end and redeem himself to Kouta and the audience once and for all.

PLUS he still has his own theme song which hasn't aired yet. You know how big music plays a role in this series (what with each actor singing their own theme songs for their characters).

So what your saying is that Micchy is the Aniken Skywalker of Gaim... I like it!

Kouta is too obvious and unless he somehow makes an even bigger sacrifice than he already has, Micchy has enough time and motivation to redeem himself

Micchy should have had his theme song used already but he hasn't. Why else would they hold it till the end unless he plays an important part at the end of the series? If he was done-done as a character and simply a background character at this point, he wouldn't have a song premiering in the final 3 episodes (cuz you know 47 is just a transition ep).

Micchy might have an epic moment, in which the song will play, but I doubt he's going to be the hero. But Gaim will lose a lot of points for me if Micchy becomes the hero

I agree that is an excellent point. Micchy is one of the 3 Main characters, he is far from being done in this series.

While I agree with Kickback about Mitchy being the hero of the endgame, overall it's all the Riders' story, from Hase to Kota himself.

Hence forth I went and threw Kaito a pity vote. Sure he's an evil, selfish Overlord but who knows? He could pull another surprise out of his hat.
