After mining some obsidian, I made me a portal to the nether and there's a nether fortress right next to the portal too.

Did that when the Xbox 360 version first came out. The only achievement I have yet to complete is surviving a fall while riding a pig on a saddle.

I started a new Nossandia with the Seed Word 'PoPuLaTeD' spelled just like that without the ' '. Built myself a nice little home between a lava pond and a sand village. Nathan's Home of Crafty Crafting. I didn't find anything spectacular yet, but then I only had one mine thus far.

And as anyone else noticed that after a few days villagers start disappearing?

I have noticed that, I always assumed it was because they were slowly being picked off by monsters. I know they're supposed to go inside at night, but they aren't the most intelligent of individuals.

I thought that to but I started this recent game on Peaceful and they're still disappearing.

I had Minecraft, and I was building a TARDIS on one of my worlds, but my laptop crashed and haven't extracted and hooked up the hard drive to my replacement because I don't want to know if it's unrecoverable. And I can't start again because my new (well, my dad's old) laptop's very slow, so the lag, which was bad enough, would be unbearable. Maybe if I delete some stuff...
